Maragas is a great little beach at the north end of Plaka. It is well served with taverns, grocery store, bike hire, and bus route, while remaining less populated than nearby Agia Anna. We booked our accommodation at Stella Apartments and never regretted our choice of location.
Very beautiful beach at about 10 minutes from Agios Prokopios by car. The views are unique and is less crowded. Good selection of restaurants and beach bars.
Beautifull beach with nice sand, and amazing bottom! The only problem was the wind, but this is very cool for wind surfers!!!
Μια πολυ πμορφη παραλια μετα την παραλια της αγιας αννας.Το μονο κακο ειναι οτι βρισκεται ενας χωματοδρομος απο πισω με πολυ κινηση
best sand, nice crystal water, a lifeguard is there from 10:00 to 17:00, super market near for refreshments and snacks
really was very nice beach and sea!! ofc i believe Agios Prokopios Beach was too far better!! but Maragas was nice too :)
Maragas is a family beach, has a good tavern and a little supermarket. Beautiful clean waters and not to noisy.
i loved the peace and the fantastic sea. nice greek tavernas with excellent food and time to rest and enjoy the magic blue!
This is one of most beautiful Naxos beaches. Located in Ag. Prokopios, a small village very close to downtown. It's not a walkable distance but you can rent a bike, a car or take the bus. Not crowded it offers spaces with umbrellas and beds, sometimes with no money charge, and free spaces where you can lean your pareo. It's a long, clean, white sand beach. Clear emerald water. The view of the bay from the main road is something special. Many taverns nearby where to stop for a beer or a greek salad.
Maragas beach is quiet and friendly. Only 20 sunbeds and a very good service. It is easy to go to the water and the shop and toilet are near. Even 2 restaurants are near.
