Hard to believe there is a completely natural (non-commercialised) beach in Mykonos? Well, there is one. Some path walking and stairs included, a wonderful little tavern (with long waiting list) and an organised parking plot are the only "infrustructure". So, if you go there to spend some time on the beach, take something to eat with you + water (you can buy water inthe taverna). No swower facilities, no natural shade, nudism friendly towards the end of the beach. Great blue crystal clear waters.
Very clean, clearest water very quiet not crowded and not commercial beach, for sure the best in the island
A small sandy beach protected by the wind! You take the directions to Provatas and you continue straight till the small church of Agios Sostis. There you turn left and just below Tarantella Restaurant is a small sandy beach; almost a paradise! From there, you can also take Zefyros boat to a short day tour to Kleftiko. The beach and the landscape are highly recommended especially late afternoon when the color of the greek horizon is so calming!!!
Quite, unspoilt and a beautiful drive from the hectic town. Also the home of the wonderful Kiki's restaurant. Well worth renting a car and coming here for sure.
Untouched quiet beach, perfect for relaxing. Not very windy, clear and clean water, soft sand and free parking. Try to have lunch at Kiki Tavern, we were not that lucky..
We hired a scooter and driver from Mykonos town to Agios Sostis before lunch time which is when people start arriving. It's a very nice quiet and relaxing beach. No facilities around but we didn't care at all, just brought a bottle of water and something to munch on. The water was still warm from Summer (I was there the end of September) and so clear. I actually loved how I could sit down in the water on large flat stone (and not get sand everywhere or sore from sitting on bumpy rocks) so I was able to sit in the water for ages, was so so nice!! Would recommend coming here if you want a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
Not to party, but for those who wants to enjoy a paradisiac beach. There are no restaurants or things to rent, so you need to take yours if you want.
Maybe the best beach on the island! Isolated, with no umbrellas and sunbeds, but with great water and view! Don't forget to bring coffee and water!
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sostis Beach. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Mykonos Town and a nice ride to get there. As anyone will tell you, this is also the home of Kiki's world famous taverna. It was too crowded on this day for us.Take care climbing down the hill side to the beach. It is not difficult but you need to be careful. Beautifully clear water and a great view.
Not in the main circuit of Mykonos, that beautiful beach was my favorite. You may find a few things to eat or drink being sold but you should take some water and snacks if you plan a long stay there.
