Make sure you know the correct opening hours before you get there. I had checked the opening hours at the Internet, and the information was wrong!!! So, unfortunately I didn’t had the chance to visit the museum, since I only went to Hora once (it was quite far from the hotel I stayed).
Amazing relics and artefacts going as far back as 8th Century BC.
Very interesting little museum, if you wanna go deeply in the history of this beautiful island, go there. It's in the main square of chora Andros.
in the museum you will see the great statue of "Hermes of Andros" (other copies of this famous statues you will find in the British and the Vatican Museums).Check the opening times of the museum before going there.
Very small. The most interesting is the Hellenistic marble statue of Ermis copy of the famous Praxitelis statue kept in Olympia.
small expecting more to see. NNice and interesting items not convinient opening hours
