Ormond has really nice beach parks and is a super place for walkers. You can walk to shopping or restaurants if you choose. Just across the street. Not a lot of shells but lots of different birds and dolphins often visible. Good prices on beachfront stays. A family area.
A nice walk. A beautiful sunrise. A quiet beach. Friendly people. The birds will greet you as you walk along a gorgeous clean sand beach.
Recently took my grand children from Minnesota to the Ormond Beach. Parked in the free park and they picked sea shells and made sand castles, Lovely beach area and park. Would take them there again.
Free beach with restrooms. This area has free parking and many spots where you can just pull over and hit the beach. Lifeguards in most areas, so I felt safe.
What a beautiful beach. It's away from the crowds and is simply the best. The sunrises are breathtaking and so picturesque. It's best to stay at one of the resorts right on the beach so you can enjoy every moment. Not far from Daytona but a better choice if you want a relaxing time.
We needed a break while driving down to Orlando. We stopped in the Ormond area for lunch. We were able to drive on the beach, snap some pics, walk in the water. It was nice. And the city was well kept too. Good restaurants and scenery.
we were about 15 minutes from the beach...but beautiful beach, lots of things to see and do and a really nice place to walk. The weather was amazing while we were here in march 2015...but certainly will be back
Excellent prices for lodging and food! Local attractions include Daytona Raceway, beach areas and numerous others!
Beautiful beach! You can drive out on it or walk. Not pet friendly at any time of the year though. Very nice for a day trip!
The sand was white and wonderful to walk on. The beach was wide. Cars can pay a fee and drive on the sand.
