This is one of the most beautiful golf courses you will find in the world. Everywhere you look is a picture perfect sight. We saw a coyote and on another trip a huge elk on the course. Lakes and streams, surrounded by mountains and the club is pretty special too. The service is fantastic as everyone loves their job! A must for any golfer.
What else can I say... I have played golf all over the world and this course with its wildlife and rockies surrounding it can not be compared.. ALL staff wonderful. Greens fast in September .. be ready!
They had a lot of different terrain on this course anda great amount of variety. Need to watch out for the animalsat times... especially Elk!
The Elk love the golf course. Look along the edge of fairways where the grass meets the forest. We just took a drive to the golf course, kept on the road, drove slowly around and heard them bugeling (it was September) - got some great pics.
This looks an interesting course. When we visited it was covered in snow but the course looks great and surrounded by fantastic views. Looks a hard course but worth giving it a go if ever we return.
I went golfing here and was snowed on, saw a moose on the course, was warm on the back nine as the weather changed and had overall a great time with my family. You just can't beat being on a golf course with this kind of view.
As our son previously told us,Banff Springs Golf Course is considered by many as one of the 10 best golf courses in the world! So when it came time to visit Banff last September, we did not really have a choice and made sure to book a reservation for a 9 hole tee time. Since my son is a junior player,he was able to get a more than reasonable fee for his golf package. The staff was very helpful in making sure that he could have the right clubs to play with (he's a left-handed player). The golf course is in fact amazing and has stunning views. We even saw a coyote on the course. Definitely one of the best family activities, literally and figuratively! Seeing my son so happy filled my heart with great joy!
Beautiful drive along the golf course. Frequent Elk herd and sometimes Grizzly bears. Easy slow drive with pull off opportunities. Golf looks great as long as you let the Elk wander through.
The Banff Springs Hotel runs a shuttle service to the golf course and the restaurant is at the end of the trip. The building is fantastic, with a central open fire and massive exposed beams. The service for drinks and food was very good, the bill was split for the party of 10 and the last shuttle bus back to the hotel runs when the last patrons leave, The outlook from the restaurant was impressive looking out over the golf course. If you have more than one night in Banff, visit this place for dinner.
I have played a few courses around the world and none beat this for scenery, it's a great course as well pleased to have parred the signature fourth hole and generally happy with +12, enjoy.
