Visited to get some ideas for activities when not skiing. Very helpful with maps, reviews of scenic drives and hiking trails.
They gave us lots of local information about stuff in the area.Which we did ,like the walk to cave and basin museum .
We went to Banff for a family vacation. the kids and adults enjoyed the surroundings and hotelsThe weather ideal, the people very friendly and helpful. We never had a problem that couldn't be solved by asking someone. The scenery is unbelievable and can't be described with words. you have to see the natural beauty for yourself. The info center provided us with invaluable information regarding the area, hotels and places to eat. they helped make our trip memorable and enjoyable.
Friendly informative - the gal at the desk used the trails and knew exactly what to expect and where to go.
We've stopped in here before and gotten good information. This time the two staff members, who were on opposite desks, simply ignored all of the tourists, while talking to each other over their heads. There was no greeting or offer of help. I was annoyed. The saving grace was that the shelves were well stocked with free brochures.
Brilliant. The staff actually called accommodation places for us to help get a room for the night, and gave us best places to visit and to eat.
As a skier, it was strange to go to Banff in January only to hear that it was more or less their "slow" season. A couple of the restaurants even mentioned to us that they would be closing early because business was slow. People at the visitor centre were friendly and offered me lots of information.
A place where you can get information about Banff and surroundings.Get some directions and start exploring!
The maps were helpful and the staff knew their stuff. They knew locations, hours of operation, prices and satisfaction level. They were friendly and very welcoming.
Plenty of info on the local tourist spots and good friendly service as well. The local Resterauts are very good on service
