Barbuda is the sister island of Antigua. Prestine pink sand beach with beautiful warm aqua blue water! Only accessible by boat or small plane. No wonder Lady Diana chose this as her vacation spot! From the island you can hop onto a small speed boat tovisit the frigate bird sanctuary! Totally amazing!!! We took the boat over from Sandals Antigua. about a 90 minute ride each way. Food and drinks provided in cost along with additional transportation to the bird sanctuary. Added time to swin in the gorgeous ward carribean!!!
We loved the beach, the management, the food, the peace and the privacy. If you like to socialize, this is the right place for you. At lunch and dinner atmosphere of a country club, which is not everybody's cup of tee. Unusual booking procedure, but nice people (both owner and management). They select their clients, which might be a bit disappointing at times. One of the most beautiful places in the world.
most beautiful beach you can ever imagine, untouched - just you and nature in its glory. It would be a total escape from reality if it wasn't in fact REAL! Great to know that there are still places like this in the world.
Coco point shares the leeward and windward side of the Island at one point. The walk to get there is ideal - flat power sand and fairly hard making walking easy.
The hotel was closed for the season but the beach was incredible it is definately the most beautiful beach I have ever been to.
No words to describe how wanderful it is. Never seen a best place in my life. I was alone on the beach, in July Just a day there, and then I went back to Antigua. Unforgettable day. Bring some water with you.Barbuda Airport is the smallest in the world...
Fabulous white sand. No sea weed or debris because there is a constant off-shore breeze. Crystalline blue water. But for Coco Point lodge, virtually free of people.
Barbuda is a very remote island that doesn't offer much outside of the extreme natural beauty of the land. The pink sand is very unique (it's pink shells but they mix in with the sand to give the appearance of pink sand). Besides this there are caves and excellent hiking all over Barbuda, definitely a must if you're staying in Antigua
My wife and I visited this beach from a sailboat vacation we booked for a week. The beach is beautiful. This is where I proposed to marry yhe love of my life at sunset. With the 168 foot old tall ship in the backrohnd we were staying on, I couldn't imagine a more perfect spot. She was totally surprised, we then sailed over to Antigua and celebrated the Islands carnival on a mountain top with hundreds of locals all night long.I cannot recommend a better place to beach it! It's a must see if you ever get the chance *****!
