When I reached the botanical garden and saw the entrance I was like "It's just another park". Honestly I was not that excited. But when we start to walk inside and go around, I totally fall in love with this Garden. It was quiet, not crowded, and you feel like you are in a real forest. Very beautiful views and Good place to walk around. We took around 1 and half hour to reach the end with stops to take photos. On the way back we paid for the small open shuttle bus and it was a nice ride. Can't remember how much we paid but if iam not mistaken it was 4GEL per person. Anyway we enjoyed the Botanical Garden and if you have time than give it a visit.
Beautiful setting with a large variety of plants. Give yourself at least an hour to see everything. Our guide's English wasn't great but she hit the high points.
simply beautiful place in batumi. must see garden. amazing views and a lot of places where you can take nice pictures :) I've experienced very bad attitude from the staff at the entrance. should be taken to attention of the people in charge!
Absolutely perfect and worse place to visit! Had passed its entrance many times, but for some reason never wanted to go inside, which finally came to be a mistake. Nice, clean and quiet, with lots of beautiful trees and flowers. Just go and see it yourself. Satisfaction guaranteed.
Beautiful place. Hilly, diverse, with wonderful views of the black sea. To get the most out of it make sure you take some of the little paths off the main path. They all lead back somewhere, somehow but you'll see much more beutiful things and get a sense of the scale of the place if you have a proper wander. Easy to spend several hours there.
varieties of flowers and trees, spread over acres of land. lots to walk. there is an in-bus facility if difficulty to walk.
If you think what to do in Batumi and don't like the idea of sunbathing all the day round, Batumi Botanical Gardens is your place of choice. Not only for botany lovers, it offers an unbelievable atmosphere and stunning views! The idea of its founder sounds crazy - he thought of collecting subtropical plants from all over the World in one place and that's how this garden looks like. You wander around different zones, like North America, Mexico, Australia or Asia. You feel completely different scents and see different varations of colours. If this is not enough, this garden offers beautiful views of the coast. It is quite easy to get there (by bus from the city centre, it costs <1 GEL) and it's quite cheap (8 GEL as for August 2014). You should reserve at least 3 hours to walk around it.

I strongly recommend that you go this beautiful garden. It has flowers and trees from different regions of world. Black sea looks wonderful from garden.
The Botanical Garden is much larger than I expected there where several private dwellings with in it. There is a tram that will take you one way then you can walk back to the gate you came in. It is quite majestic. There is a lot of up and down on hills and stairs.
