You name it and this mall has it from restaurants, shopping, department stores, cinema, food court, walk in clinics, clothes, shoes, fashion, pharmacy, photo studios, gift stores, cell phone merchandise, grocery stores, home decors, and easy easy access via transit bus and skytrain. Over 500+ stores. You'll love it all.
I do all my major shopping here (Christmas) it has pretty much every store and parking is not a problem. I live on the North Shore and the revamped Park Royal is catching up. If you're from out of town....Make a day of it if and go the Capilano Suspension Bridge and/or Top of Grouse Mountain (hike the Grind) and then head to the mall after.1)Metrotown2)Park Royal3)Pacific Centre
This is a great Mall. It's close to Vancouver, easy to get to, and has a great selection of stores. It has a huge Food Court. If you want a great visit to a Mall, come here. But it's a bit expensive, but then again, that's normal for Vancouver.
It's huge, it's massive, majority of choices in clothes and foods. Must be the best shopping mall in Vancouver !! Very easy to access via Skytrain. The best thing is they have Victoria Secret !!!
if you cannot find what your are looking for here stick to the internet. 3 levels - largest mall in BC
This mall is clean, beautiful felt very safe. Easy to get about too. Customer service kiosks are plentiful and staff very friendly. The staff at Pandora were so friendly despite the huge volume of shoppers.
As a Vancouverite, I used to spend endless hours at this mall as a teenager. As an adult on a visit back home, I was horrified by all the huge crowds in this mall. We could not walk into the mall from the skytrain station because of all the human traffic!! So we crossed the street instead. Once in the mall, we couldn't walk at a normal leisurely pace because of all the people crammed in under one roof. I'm not exaggerating. There were people everywhere, like ants. Clothing items stacked on floors and thrown in piles, like garbage, in every single store. I'm not sure if this is some new Christmas consumerism thing or if it's always like this at Metrotown nowadays. I'll pass on this one next time.
I live close by so perhaps I am biased, in not a good way. This is a huge mall with all the standard stores, food fair and movie theatre, so if that is what you want, you will be happy. For me, it is a crowded soulless place where you are invariably stuck behind someone doing what we call "the Metrotown shuffle". There is something toxic about the air and/or environment so that I always end up with a head ache. Parking is good but pay attention to where your car is or you will not be able to find it. Access by public transport, both bus and sky train is excellent. The Movie theatre access from parking is good. The lobby of the movie theatre is noisy and frenetic but once into the theatres, the seats are very comfortable.
It has most of what a person could want, grocery store, the usual department stores and a wide range of designer wares. This is the largest mall in BC and is on the main skytrain line so there are a lot of people. It's not an issue though, if you want to avoid the crowds go on the weekdays, especially in the evenings. It could do with more restaurants rather than just the mall food court but so saying, it's a good food court with a wide variety of tasty treats. This mall is big! When I was a visitor it was a little confusing to get around. There are now a lot of directories located throughout so it's easier going.
Has cinemas, restaurants, Doctors, grocery stores and hundreds of stores. It has lots of parking and has a nice food court. It's a big mall that's neat and tidy. Close to Vancouver you must stop here for a visit.Very easy to reach by bus and sky train which has a station connected to this mall.Just remember where you parked your car, you will have a tough time looking for it!
