This is so huge complex and wonderful experience for which you will need for sure two days in order to explore everything that is offered. Staff is generally polite but I still think that there is a really big space for improvement when it comes to more warm welcome and especially English skills which makes communication slightly difficult.
This Day Spa is one of the nicest I have been. Lot of place to chill, great saunas, and a big choice of massage and treatments. The design is a mixture and very beautiful. You can easy spend the all day here.Next time I will try the restaurand as well, this time we just had something at the bar to eat, and that was forgetable. We will return for sure.
This spa is by far one of the best Spas I've been to. I've been here twice and cannot wait for our third visit! My husband and I are spa enthusiasts :) and this spa is on top of our list! On both our visits we spent our time in the textile free/nude section. There are a variety of sauna's to chose from and within this section they have 2 different themes - the Spanish Moors and India. In the Spanish moor section I particular enjoyed the Rose Sauna and I also attended the Aufgusse ceremony there. Don't miss the 'fire and ice' sauna in the Indian section! There are also steam rooms, different pools and hot tubs in this Spa. The restaurant has good food and beer! One word of advice - spend 6-8 hours here and come back feeling absolutely recharged!
It is a very special place to relax, full of harmony! Very nice interior and exterio! Delicious restaurants food!
The best place to relax I've been to so far. I make sure to pay them a visit every time I am in the area. The best thing to do is to go for a whole day, and be able to nap on the water beds after enjoying the many different saunas and swimming possibilities. A very strict no-cell phone policy combined with the wonderful decor truly allows the stressed mind to forget about the everyday life. Everything you purchase or consume in the Spa is charged to your chip, so you don't have to worry about your wallet either. Maybe only a little bit when paying for the food, cause the restaurant and bars are rather expensive. But well, it really is worth it. If you are considering any massage or treatment you should reserve it a few days in advance to make sure that they are not fully booked. And - of course- it's always better to go during the week as it's less crowded.
"Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore" -- this famous line aptly applies to a first time visit to the Mediterana Spa. While visiting friends in Cologne, we were gifted a day at the spa. The typical range of spa experiences is elevated several levels here at the Mediterana, as they have created an environment that is unique, adventurous and relaxing. You must come and spend as long a day as you can in an attempt to experience as much as possible -- which could actually be a challenge in just one day. It's a sensory delight on many levels -- visually through very artful architectural designs, impressive interiors, plus many beneficial therapeutic options that include artful showers, aromatherapy and mineral pools of varying temperatures. Hint: if convenient for you, bring your own robe & towels for increased savings. You are sure to emerge renewed and refreshed -- if not altogether dazzled! A very well thought-out sensory delight!
Although they also have a thermal pool part, we only visited the saunas. There are many, lost count but estimated ~15 different saunas and steambaths. Lots and lots of recliners and resting places. Aufguss going on every half hour, sometimes more. Decoration has a Moroccan and Indian theme. Not to be missed if you like sauna.
Far and away the best Spa you will find in Germany, possibly in Europe. The setting ias beautiful and just so tranquil. Cannot recommend it enough.
Very stylish major sauna complex in Arabian/North African/Spanish style. Beautiful design with plenty of facilities inside and outside. Exceptionally good restaurant (given the standard in wellness establishements). We came on Rosenmontag (Carneval's Monday), and had to wait for 75 minutes (!) before we could enter. I had tried to reserve in advance, but this had not been possible. Apart from this obvious lack of service, all other service was good. Very friendly staff. The remote location requires visitors to come by car (no public transport available).
Truly an exceptional spa experience. The decor (from India and Morocco) is incredibly done. And although the parking lot was completely full, once inside, it did not appear crowded. An exceptional experience. The fees are consistent with other spas in the area - however, this is heads above all the other local spas.
