Hit the course before the sun got hot. Beat by the ladies but had fun. Not crowded at this time (opens at 9).
We usually play a round of mini-golf here every year as it is in the same town we stay in. It isn't the largest course, or the fanciest, but it is a good time for a quick round. The holes are kind of close together due to the limited space. The price was reasonable, and the people working here are always helpful. We will be back again next year.
We have been staying in Bethany long enough to recall when Captain Jack's was being built and were so excited to have a mini golf course right in the downtown area. This is a fun but not too tough course for kids and this year the owners installed misting fans throughout the first part of the course, which can be hot when the sun beats down. Have a relaxing 18 holes and then head across the street to the Artful Bean, another Bethany landmark that now serves breakfast sandwiches in addition to coffee, tea and artwork on display from local artists.
This is a nice little course, pretty well-maintained. Everything is designed to fit into a small area and it is a little tight. However, each hole was different and this course is better than many larger ones. We've been there several time over the past few years and the kids enjoy it. We will go again next time we are in BB.
This is a poor choice for the kids to play golf .it is the only place in Town but I would drive to OC or fenwick for better choices and more activites I t is squeezed into a small lot and doesn't even look right for the site . Lots of people play it because it the only game in town. I would avoid it at all cost.
we had a great time. Very unique setup. Its small but fun. Some really cool holes -but my daughter kept moving her ball around.
This is a VERY small golf course almost in the heart of downtown. It is especially good for very small children with neither the skills nor patience for the larger more challenging courses. My grandsons love to go here and have been once a year for the past three years. Course is well maintained, easy to get to and can be navigated by old and young alike. If your five and six year olds want to play golf, take them to Captain Jack's. Good fun and especially easy to get into during the late afternoon/dinner time.
What a blast. It's conveniently located and a quick walk from the boardwalk. The place is well kept up and clean. It's tiny, but isn't that why they call it miniature golf?
Eight of us went to play miniature golf and we found it to be tiny! Each hole is nice enough, but there is noplace to hang out to watch or wait for the next hole if it's not free yet. The up side is that it's right in Bethany Beach so you can walk to it after getting ice cream on the boardwalk, or coming from dinner with the kids.
18 holes in a small space, and can get crowded - especially at night. However, we played mid-afternoon during the week and were only 2 others on course. Fun diversion.
