We chose Kroombit Park because we could sleep under the stars. We went horseriding and camped outside. Food was made especially for us on the woodfire. We enjoyed our night out and were woken up when our guide had made us a fresh coffee. Recommended!
Great place if u like the country life style!!!! :) It was a really fun experience, loads of things to do! Great food!
What an amazing experience! This was incorporated on a two week tour of the east coast and prior to arriving I was dreading it. I am not a farm sort of person. How my opinion has changed! The dorm rooms were ridiculously small, they had two bunk beds and enough room for two people to stand at a time, not the four of us that it slept, but, we were in there to sleep and that was it! The afternoon we got there we went clay pigeon shooting, tried our hand at goat lassoing and ate a speciality meat from the BBQ. We all gathered in the evening for very reasonably priced drinks, one of the main guys rode into the bar area on a horse...it was weird!! There are rules, such as, when you finish a drink you have to stand 10 meters away from a metal bin and throw it in, if it misses you leave it on the floor so the staff in the morning have something to do! It was brilliant. There was line dancing, learning how to use a whip and rodeo riding after a fantastic dinner. The next morning we went horse riding in which we learnt how to muster cattle, and quad biking. If you don't mind being caked in mud for a couple of days go here. Honestly one of the best experiences of my life!
Meet your outback experience with oz experience! Was a fun night rodeo fancy dress lots of goon! Clay shooting trying to catch a goat! Fun times!
I had 2 awesome days there, so many great things to do and even I was there by myself I didn't feel alone at all. They looked after me all the time and let me be part of their little family. It's a great way to see another side of the eastcoast and heaps of fun.
Just do it! This is just a great experience where you can do things like lasoing, mustering, horse riding, quad riding, shooting,.... We stayed only for one night but regret we couldn't stay longer. Every one is just so friendly and helpful that it feels like one big family.Facilities are clean and the food is fantastic. Don't think about it, just go! You never want to leave again!
We're a couple in our 20s and we stayed here for one night..Good- The activities!! We did...goat mustering, quad biking, goat rodeo, clay pigeon shooting, whip cracking and lassoing.- The FOOD!! Oh my god the food. Steak, crayfish, roast dinners and all cooked over a bonfire. Plus the breakfast is pretty amazing, with home-made banana jam. - The bar is great fun in the evening, with mechanical bull riding and drinking games organised by the staff - The whole experience runs like clockwork, the staff are excellent and the day just flies by!Bad- VERY little bad to say about Kroombit. If I had to be nitpicky, I'd say it's pretty expensive for travellers on a tight budget, but it's definitely worth the money. - The accommodation is pretty basic, but you're not here for cosy living, you're here for the experience!I recommended Kroombit to absolutely everybody I've met who is travelling up or down the east coast of Oz. It's stunningly good fun.
Travelling down the East Coast of Australia this ranch is quite literally in the middle of nowhere! That makes it so perfect! Real life cowboys and cowgirls who live and work the ranch particulary made this so enjoyable, with their down to earth approach and stories. The land is breathtaking (spotted a few kangaroos) and you can't help but fully get emersed in ranch life. Take part in horseback riding, mustering the wild goats, goat rodeo and dance and drink the night away in front of the roaring fire!the only downside is having to leave the place!!!
A fun experience for those travelling the east coast and looking for a little adventure....Horse riding, Quad bikes, Mechanical Bull, Goat Rodeo, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Whip Cracking and Lassooing.... All in 24 hours!
From the very first moment this place captured our hearts. The warmth of the owners and staff was completely infectious. The atmosphere at this place is really special! We loved the Quad Biking and horse riding and my children would have happily stayed forever. Thanks Al, Kerry, Andy and the team.
