Absolutely the best golf course I have played.I believe all of us that played here (8) some of us for the first time would agree Shadow Creek doesn't compare although it is a fine course.Cascata to be ranked higher than Shadow Creek doesn't seem possible. It was a fun tim with a great forecaddie. While it is pricey it is well worth it will definitely be on list for next years trip.
I would have given this place 5 out of 5. On the pure golf aspect the course is gorgeous, the clubhouse is out of this world, the scenery breathtaking, and the maintenance of the course is second to probably only shadow creek in the Las Vegas area. Not being a heavy gambler to get this place comped I paid the full boat for basically a "YOLO" (as the kids say) experience. It was quite a price and the greens fees part of it was worth it but having to take an uninformed not very useful caddy as an albatross was not money well spent. I've golfed with caddies several times and they've been great experiences very knowledgeable are able to read a green properly and saves you a few strokes on your game. Where as the one assigned to us at Cascata was kind of a boob and probably cost us more strokes than saved us. All in all, I will probably not go back here because of the price but it was definitely worth the one time though. If i had a suggestion it would be to roam the course caddy-less. Other than that I loved the experience. I feel that if you are putting that kind of money down for the greens fee you are no stranger to the golf course and know how to fix a pitch mark, rake a bunker, and fix a ball mark on a green because you are doing that during your course of play anyways. Just my opinion.
For the 6th year in a row, we spent the superbowl morning at Cascata. The place is unbelievable and it truly the best way to spend a day in Vegas. The golf course is terrific, a bit on the difficult side too which I like. The scenery and caddies are the best... treat yourself, you will not regret it.
This was the 4th time I have played at Cascata while in Las Vegas. It truly is an amazing property with great service to go along with the great golf. We have a group of 28 golfers and we worked with Andy coordinating our event. He was super to work with, and we had a great day. Our forecaddie (Moses) was the best, and the golf course awesome. Everything done there is top shelf, and although it might seem expensive, it is worth it!
This course run by Caesars Entertainment does not offer any type of military discount. Evidently they have forgotten the fact that they just might not have this business if it were not for our United States Military. Send a message and spend your golfing money elsewhere.
Maybe the best golfing experience I've ever had!! The course is an amazing desert course, with great elevation changes, some blind shots & tricky greens - but VERY playable, especially with Moses, our caddie. BEST caddie I've ever had. Read every green spot on (I one putted from 10-12 feet at least 4 times - I can assure you, not my norm!!) Moses is a great guy & their senior caddie. Right from the start when you get your locker with your name engraved in a brass plate (that you can take with you), to returning to the clubhouse, where you drive into the air conditioned clubhouse & are given an ice cold towel, everything is first rate. I can't say enough about it & it's only 30 minutes from the Strip.
Great experience! Everything here is top of the line, from the staff right on through to the course. It is hard to believe there is anything in LV that comes close to Cascata. I have no idea how they could make a day at Cascata any better. Recommend this course to the highest level.
Cascata should be on any golfer's bucket list. The website pictures do not do the property justice. From the moment you pull up to the front door, you are treated like royalty by the entire staff. The course is in pristine condition, and the caddies are some of the best in the business. I suggest you request Moses if he is available. He can really read a green which you will need if you want to score well. I have played here 3 times and can't wait for my next visit.
Cascata is must play for the country club golfer's It opened in 2000 and looks the same today. The course is in great condition ( call to see when they aerate the greens) The views and experience are something that you will always talk about. It use to be $500.00 per round now it is $300.00 or less depending when you go. The club house is unbelievable the water from the top of the mountain runs under the club house it sounds like a river. You do have to take a four caddie but they are good at reading the fast greens.
Cascata GC creates waterfalls in the top of the hill of a desert, like a fantasy land. The course condition was superb with great facility. Total reward card member even gets discount to play. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in desert golfing.
