Great family fun and a great atmosphere! Very cheap way to take the family out and they have solid food that is reasonable. Also have local Maine beer on tap.
the seats are priced fair. the stadium is vey nice. in between innings there are just enough shenanigans to keep even the least of the baseball fans amused; people watching picks up the slack on that one. it is no shocker that the food is overpriced and not good for you, but that is all part of the allure for some. I cannot comment on parking, for we live about a 10 minute stroll away. check their schedule for promotions and giveaways.
The Sea Dogs are the farm team for the Boston Red Sox's. The players are friendly and come over and greet everyone. The games are good and exciting The food is what you would find at a major league game but not a expensive and the staff are happy to see everyone. They go out of there way to talk to everyone and make them feel welcome
Very family friendly and everyone who works there is just happy to be there. The woman in the gift shop was very welcoming and told us how proud they are of their "mini-Fenway".
Food was great, service was ok; a little slow on drink refills. They need brewed tea for their southern visitors.
This is a very well run minor league baseball team in a family friendly environment. There is good visibility from any seat and no one is seated that far from the action. There is nothing like watching the sunset with a beer in hand at a sea dogs baseball game. None of the dates above apply since I moved away two years ago.
Hadlock Field is my personal favorite minor league ballpark, I try to go at least once every summer. Parking is easy enough, very abundant and easy to find. Free parking can even be found if you don't mind a bit of a walk to the ballpark. The ballpark itself is clean and inviting, a great place to bring the whole family for an afternoon baseball game. There aren't any bad seats, the general admission bleacher seats are fine but if you want to spend $9 on a box seat those will get you a bit closer to the field and be a bit more comfortable for your back. The food is good ballpark fare, you'll find all the usual items at fair prices. If you spend time in Portland and have never visited Hadlock do yourself a favor and take in a ballgame one afternoon or evening, I doubt you'll regret it.
parking is reasonable, tickets are affordable and good seats everywhere. If you want to go to a game and not spend a fortune this is it and the team (Sea Dogs) was pretty good.
Great place for the whole family. Fun and safe atmosphere. All seats are good for watching baseball.
Old time family fun at it's best. Take my office staff here every year.Sat in the right field bleachers this year and had a great time. Bring sun protection on a sunny day.
