Lovely place for family walks, walking dogs, etc. It is quite a large area and is truly beautiful. Has a great café which serves meals and snacks and is also dog friendly, it has toilet facilities and a visitors centre with interaction for the kids. Such a beautiful place to go in the summer!
This is a lovely place for a walk at anytime of the year. The bluebells in the spring are beautiful. You can do quite a long walk of break off about halfway. There's a great cafe here too selling the most amazing chips!! The grandchildren love it!!
Brilliabnt park to take your dog for a walk. I always go there every Sunday morning and enjoy it. Worth to visit the park.
The cafe has a deck area overlooking the ponds and garden. This is a nice place for a breakfast, coffee or snack. It is informal and a good starting point or finishing point to a walk through the woods.
This park is quite large and will take several hours to walk round, it has an excellent café which serves meals and snacks and is dog friendly, it has toilet facilities and a visitors centre with interaction for children, in the Summer months there is an Ice house (an old Victorian larder) which is open to the public, there is a golf course next door for those interested, the whole area is nearly all country and there are several local walks to Down (For Charles Darwin's House) Farnborough Village, Cudham, and surrounding country
High Elms offers great walks for people and dogs through glorious woodland. It's paths are by and large well drained, so it's accessible even after a lot of rain, and the gradients are fairly gentle. Car parking remains free at the time of writing.
Lovely park in the summer - picnic tables and lots of areas to sit and eat. Good for dogs as there is a vast area of greenery and nice for kids to run around and climb trees.
Great People - very nice atmosphere. A bowl of chips and a drink served in the open air the year round.
Not to big an area if you just want a stroll, there is also a very nice coffee shop, always pleasant, lots of different types of trees for you huggers, look for fungi as well....
Love the country setting loads of walks in stunning countryside with a very rich history. There is a good Eco centre with restaurant and lecture rooms etc for folks to learn about the countryside.
