Bordered by restaurants. Chair/umbrella rental only about $12/day, and food or drink purchase applies toward it. Good swimming.
a small side beach next to João Fernandes, famous for the golden/copperish fine sand, is a bit too full with the youngsters playing ball, rackets, flying, loud music, chairs going into the water ... used to be a paradise in the 20th century !!
There were too many people and with high tides, there are no room for anyone, leaving that aside, it´s a beautiful place and very good snorkelling 50m away from shore.
If you are staying in Rio, get a ride from your hotel and for 300 reais, and go there, if is more than 2 rent a taxi and get the best deal possible, try to negociate for 500 reais 700 reais top.The way to there is slow and could take up to 3 to 4 hours if there is to much traffic. But once you are there is just out of this world, the beach I went for is Fernandinho, I don't know the others, but let me tell you this one is just perfect, they sell everything you need in the beach, from food to beer and rent a surf board, and so much more.I took the kids with me and came back same day, so stayed in there all day long. The way back is quicker cos I came sleeping anyway.I think if you have time try to stay a week at least, but if you don´t have the time one day is OK as well.
This very small and calm beach has clear water with no waves, perfect for those who seek tranquility. Good for children too.
Even considering small beach, you ll have a good time one. The beach have bar and caipirinha to drink. The sea is more hot then another beach around it.
It's nice that there are many restaurants that line this long stretch of beach. The chairs & umbrellas are complimentary but you must eat at the over-priced restaurants. This beach is not as quaint as Azeda and Ossos, for example.
非常漂亮的长海滩,在这里呆上半天很惬意。如果你住的酒店不在JF海滩旁边,那么从Osdis海滩坐水上出租车来这里也很方便。
I reach this beach hiking the rocks from Joao Fernando beach. I burned my feet, but it was an amazing view. To go back to Joao Fernando beach I used the stairs of the hotel that is in the middle of these beaches.
this is by far the best beach in Buzios, white sand, warm blue sea, a small piece of land with access as long as I heard, from the sea, from the Colonna Park Hotel or through a deep reinforest that reaches the beach. Naturally hidden from civilization, is the best beach to relax and enjoy the simple things in life, few people, a couple of bars who offer you drinks and seafood at the lowest price in town, they bassicly pamper you. Once you arrive you dont want to move any more. I do believe I was lucky to get there, I am not sure if the price is right, because it was extremely unexpensive for the piece of heaven I found on earth.
