Lovely traditional theatre and performance was worth the visit. We paid 16 euro each for top tickets with Briatislava card. A memorable experience.
It was really cheap to visit the opera so i thought why the hell not. My ticket was 14 euros and I had an amazing seat. Prosecco in the interval was 2 euros. I couldn't understand a word but it was a good experience.
most of the people who come to Bratislava have already been to either Vienna or Budapest.. then everything in this small lil town becomes a comparison to these bigger cities.. i would suggest forget the comparison and just enjoy this town as it is..
Very beautiful building right in the centre of things. Close to old city so you can head out after a performance.
Impressive building, old style theatre . We enjoyed an Opera there. We did not understand neither the Italian singing nor the Slovak translation but still enjoyed the music and the scenes. There were many tourist among the audience - I wish they could translate into English as well.
Stunning building when you stand in front. We were not able to go inside, since we were on a driver through Bratislava, but the exterior is promising.
got 2 tickets for Carmen..We seated in a balcony on the 1 st level for only £ 25 each wich was great value .great traditional theatre great atmosphere .
Located next to the shopping mall of eurovea, on the banks of the Danube River, the National Theatre Building represents the pivotal point of the "new city center". Without underplaying the role of the 2 main stages, my wish is to highlight the plays performed at the "studio"stage. Modern Theatre at its best
A great building which is as impressive as other theatres across Europe without charging ridiculous prices for ballet, opera or other shows so well worth a visit before the mass tourism industry hits. relatively modern in comparison to much of the old city as it is renaissance but date but it is beautiful and has an elegant charm
I was impressed by the architecture of the opera house of Bratislava and the fountain in front of it.I took so many pictures from the building as it just captured me.
