Very important cathedral for Bratislava and also for Austrian-Hungarian empire. Worth for a visit, not only for historical reasons, but also for nice paintings, architecture. If you will be very lucky, maybe i will se also crypth under this church.
A small Cathedral which is beautiful and has a fascinating hisory as the place where Hungarian royalty was crowned. Well worth a visit .
St. Martin´s Cathedral was the most important church in ancient Hungary Kingdom. It was place for coronation of the kings between 1563 and 1830. This church was very friendly for composer Franz Liszt.
Here got there King-Crown many Hungariens and Austria Kings and Queens.Maria Theresia too.Worth to visit.
A lovely building with the usual architectural interest but I expected more religious decorations inside. The Cathedral was in the hands of Lutherans up to about 110 years ago & maybe the reason for not portraying the usual overwhelming respect.
A historic and charming cathedral. An enjoyable experience. A definite must do on every visitor's itinerary to Bratislava..
Make sure that you have at least one hour to visit this cathedral. Sit there for some time in silence and feel the greatness of the cathedral builders and the priests performing the masses.
This is a beautiful Cathedral that must be photographed at least on the Old Town Tour. Well worth a visit whilst looking at this beautiful part of Bratislava. It is free to enter but donations are welcomed.
Such a lovely church. Well worth visiting even if just for a short look around. So close to everything else - you shouldn't miss it
