This is a nice place to visit in winter to see chickadees, cardinals and other small birds. Often people bring bird seed to place on the railings to attract them. You can access it from the parking lot behind the ball diamonds or cross over the pedestrian bridge from Russ Street across the river.
Have always enjoyed Riverside Park, but not as much as the geese, they're everywhere and so are they're droppings. Be prepared to burn the kids clothing and clean the car of goose droppings. Does have nice trails and splash park for younger children and a skate park for the teens.
Riverside Park is a classic gem in the otherwise uninspiring area of Cambridge formerly known as Preston. There's something for all ages and it never feels crowded.
Lots of nice trails here...beautiful spot on the river...many festivals and different events here....big, beautiful park:-)
Fishing, watch a ball game, walk on the boardwalk brought the marsh, have a picnic in the woods. Splash pad and modern playground for the kids.. A jewel in the city.
Liked the friendliness of people there, and enjoyed watching people walking their dogs. Different foliage, and flowerbeds were really enjoyed.
Huge park with lots of room for any activity you have in mind. The city use Riverside for alot of their events. Nice all year round.
Great place for the family and pets. Large open space with places to sit. Fantastic all year round. So many trails. My dog loves it!
Lots of nice paths to follow, dog friendly (on lead), a nice view of the river. What more could you want? Picnic tables are there, baseball court as well. Probably lots more we didn't see as it's a large park. Parking is simple - Find a spot on the side and pull over :-)
Great park for walks, trails, family picnics. Have walked all the trails and it also has many places to sit and take it all in too.
