Most of us are locals to this trail system, but we occasionally have visitors to BC. The word spreads pretty quickly when you have something good like this around. SORBA has done an awesome job maintaining these trails and expanding the parking lot. Be warned, though - this place fills up quickly on the weekends!
Ride here 2 or 3 times per week. Convenient, well kept, and it has a trail for all types. Great parking now that they added more space.
One of best mountain bike parks in SE...has everything (even a tricky jump course)...all levels of trails...great parking/facilities
Blankets is the best trail system on the east coast. There are three main trails:The Dwelling - 4.5 miles of single track with intermediate hills and many roots across the path to navigate. The South Loop - 4 miles of advanced technical challenge. Arboreal and secluded, ride through ferns and forests, but expect difficult rocks for a path and single track that is narrow on the lakeshore. Area 51 - physically challenging and less technical. Steep hills, long climbs, and Kevorkian Cliff (most will walk their bikes through this) which is 12 inches of single track on a hillside with a steep drop. There are beginner tails too, but expect the experts to buzz past you. I learned to bike here. Great place!
This has become an experienced only dirt mountain bike trail. If you aren't ready for a strenous ride, you will not enjoy this trail. There is a mile long kids trail but the whipper snappers ride around it on the way to the advanced track so it's not really safe for kids.
Great trails for Mountain biking and hiking. Can see creek and little river feed into Lake Allatoona.New Parking lot and picnic area. Very good place to spend that afternoon. Enjoy !!! Please remember.. "Pack in.. Pack out".. Please do not liter. Thanks
Great trails! You will enjoy them unless you want the big mountains to climb that require...the actual mountain. Same for downhill on the other side. However some of the trails have some great climbs to get your cardio going. Everything from beginning to advanced here. Ton of fun. Check it out if you love to ride and live in the Atanta area or are passing through.
Our families favorite Mountain Bike park ever. Great facilities, cleanup area, ample parking and of course really great trails, even the easier ones! Wish we lived close enough to bike there :)
Great set of trails from beginners to expert level. Well maintained and fun to ride. We always have a blast whenever we go here either with own family or with friends. My 2 daughters (ages 11 and 8) actually are addicted to the trails here. This is one of the reasons why I joined IMBA (SORBA) and help trails like these be maintained and improved the way they are now.
SORBA of Woodstock has done an amazing job with this trail system. It has grown in the past 8 years to include many new trails, a bike wash area, bathrooms, a much larger parking lot, and the host to many races. It is a great place to come and ride.
