What was once a clothing store on Cedarburg's main street was transformed into the Cedarburg Cultural Center years ago. This top notch attraction serves as the site for musical entertainment, art displays, classes, an open mic night, and other cultural events. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed a display of work by local artists as well as an interesting collection of black and white photos comparing Cedarburg of years ago to the exact scene as it currently appears. The price for browsing was right - free! However, donations are accepted / encouraged. While you're at it, plan to stroll the main street and visit the many unique shops that Cedarburg offers.
We saw "Duct Tape Monolouge" and had a great time. They serve alcohol so didn't need to get a drink after the play.
Everything -- it's a perfect place for anyone wanting to have a great time. It has lovely parks and a great swimming pool and a lovely old Catholic church.
A ,must visit for those arts enthusiasts. A nice collection of residence art and a wonderful menu of events that are sure to please a variety of interests.
It is a small art museum. Was expecting more historical. They feature art produced by local artists. I ended up purchasing a small painting.
On our walk along Cedarburg's main street, we stopped in for a look. It was a beautiful day and we were not really in the mood for a gallery, but as we left we agreed that our time inside had been worth it. The art was of varying quality. But the informational displays about Cedarburg and the surrounding area taught us lots of interesting tidbits about our home state. The use of photos and newspaper clippings transported us. We found ourselves reading more than we expected. It was also clear that the space is used by the community, and that is a really nice thing.
Accommodating and easy for our mother's memorial service; highly recommend the cultural center for parties, etc.
We attended a concert at the center. The space was very nice and open. Music was wonderful. Art hanging around the entire building was fun to look at. Some of the pieces were just beautiful. Concert was reasonably priced as well.
It had a small Art Exhibition of local artists, which was nice. However, there was a wedding going on while the venue was open to the public
We were fortunate because there was an Art & Craft Fair in Cedarbury the day were there. We enjoyed the crafts at the Cultural Center, but the art at the Community Center was outstanding.
