My 11y.o. son and I frequent the grounds regularly. We are begginer/novice players; enjoy the entire grounds. Great driving range, with a challanging practice green only a few steps from the range. Great value and a very relaxing atmosphere. A great place to relax, with some random wildlife to add to the scenery.
Great place for Grandpa and Grandsone to have a morning tee time :)
The par 3 course is a good place to train using clubs you normally wouldn't! Good prices also, but it isn't a full golf course very small.
The course was a little on the small side and didn't have a whole lot in the way of elevation changes. However, its a great place to work on your short game or just head on over to the driving range and enjoy the view.
Challenging Par-3, and adequate range. If you are looking for a place to practice your short game, then this is the place for you. Holes averaging approximately 110 are completely guarded by water, including 3 peninsula greens. There are two holes on the course that require more than a 9 Iron. The greens are kept in decent shape for a practice course. It is well worth the 15 bucks.Bring lots of balls!
We stopped at Orange Beach Golf Center for a specialty item. While they were unable to provide the item they were very kind to help up find where we could purchase the item. Very pleasant staff, clean, friendly.
First stopped here as it was close to our condo and to hit the driving range before tackling some more serious golf. They had a special on driving range buckets if you bought a dozen, so we did that. Got a bakers dozen and price was a decent deal. The driving range is very nice. Real grass and well maintained. Balls are typical driving range balls, nothing special. We hit balls a couple of times before venturing to a regulation 18 hole course.Today we decided to play 9 holes at the par 3. Holes are fairly short, with one over 150 yards. If you are a real hackers, you will probably loose a couple of balls as there is plenty of water. If you are psyched out by water, then this course could do it. Price was OK, not a great deal, but a decent place to practice wedges and short irons. Staff is very nice and the greens were nice. The greens were better than the greens at Solders Creek where we played earlier in the week. Tee boxes could have used some work, but not terrible.Probably will not play the par 3 again, but will definitely be back at their range.
Stopped in while on vacation to Gulf Shores and was looking for a quick 9 holes. The course is a par 3 with a nice driving range and laid out very challanging...water on every hole and very unforgiving for the average player. Game wise, it was quite a challange but that is not the courses fault, I should get better, so for game play, no complaints...but the atmosphere is something to be questioned...for a par 3 9 hole course, 20 bucks!!?? It costs me 44 bucks for me and my duaghter to play 9 holes...too much for what you get. The course is VERY BUGGY and we fought bugs constantly due to the stagnent water around the course. I'm not saying that I would not reccommend but I would sure tell folkjs about the bugs and the cost......I'm just sayin'
Has a driving range and a 9 hole par three course both are good for their intended purposes. I think you will enjoy the facility in he heart of Orange Beach whee your not far from most of the attractions in the area or Restaurants.
It was a very slow play to enjoy a round of golf. Would never go back! There is not much to say except terrible!
