Tucked in a beautiful spot along the Clackamas River, this is a locals place to go for a quick round of 9 or 18, or to get some practice in at the driving range. Usually pretty good time slots available especially in the winter and spring
Loved golfing at Sah-ha-lee! Tuesday nights mean that bands play and you can hear them through the whole course. Good times :)
The course is in great shape and beautiful. Get your friends together and make a tee time. Friendly staff and casual dress code. Had some beers on the deck over looking the golf course after our round.
it was a few mounts back .but a very nice course to play at . it shold be nice and green on the fairways.
Kinda floored by the previous review as I've played there many times in the past. For the trouble, there are alot of courses that will offer a far better value and won't be so far out of your way. Played there 2 weeks ago and the bunkers appeared as though a cement truck had backed up and unloaded. To get out I used a lob wedge forward in my stance and picked it clean. If it rains??? Good luck, because it has the soggiest fairways I have ever seen. The service leaves alot to be desired and if they get busy, they get easily rattled. The driving range is nothing to write home about either. Both areas covered and uncovered are mats and the staff at the Pro Shop will quickly direct you to that area below if there is anything that you need. The beverage cart is available only occassionally. This course is unrated so if posting scores for your handicap is normal for you, not at this course.
i love Sah-Hah-Lee i golf there 2 time a week cause it is the best course around. the staff is awsome nice inviroment and the beer cart is always close. they got the really short holes and the ones that give you a challengs with your long irons. to me its one of the best out there.
What a great place to have a golf tournament and a party. Tracy was amazing to work with and her staff was very attentive all day. Even with the light rain, the covered party area was great and then they put some canopies over the deck for added dancing area. The golf course is in great shape even with all the rain we have had this spring. We raised almost $1,500 for Foster Kids Christmas gifts and we would not been able to do that without Tracy and her staff. Thanks again,Brad MageeBrad’s 50th Bash for Foster Kids
What a great treat to get such a beautiful Sunday to play golf the first weekend of March. We went to Sah-Hah-Lee on a whim, and the staff was able to get us on the course even though we didn't make a tee time. Though the course was pretty busy, we got on in a half an hour, which gave us a few minutes to warm up at the range. What a great driving range! Beautiful setting, no nets, and hitting out onto green grass. Our game was, as expected, a little rusty but we played 18 holes and had an awesome time. The course was in great shape, the greens were very fast and smooth, the scenery spectacular, and all for a very reasonable price. I would certainly recommend Sah-Hah-Lee to anyone looking for a great course and practice facility, especially if they don't have all day to play.
As a beginner golfer I had the honor of taking group lessons at Sah-Hah-Lee with Nick P., one of the Apprentice Pro's. To say a few words about Nick - patient and always positive, gracious and encouraging. He corrects little things that need correcting, but allows a person to develop a swing that works. He gives advice on clubs, but again, it's an individual endeavor. For the lessons, we always started right on time and used every minute. The young man in the club house also was very friendly and helpful. I don't have my own clubs, so I used rentals at no cost for the lessons. Sah-Hah-Lee is a woodsy, peaceful and quiet course; Par 3, 18 holes. Location is also convenient. Cost is very reasonable.
Been coming out here for years. Always a great time. Friendly staff, Good food, Play the whole course in about 2.5 hours. Perfect for Dad's with very little time for golf. 18 holes of challenging par 3's. May even need some of your hybrids on the longer holes. Also a great place to bring the wife or introduce the kids to golf. Keep up the great work!
