Page Cellars has a great winery location, cool bar and lounge area to their tasting room, and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their wines are very good, with a blend of grapes grown nearby as well as in the Wilcox area of southeastern Arizona. Definitely worth the visit.
Wine in AZ? Why, yes there is - and quite good wine, too. These guys have a good operation going. Their take on a Super Tuscan - aptly named Super Arizona - would not be scoffed at placed against any wine in California, Italy or France that I've had, and I've had many AOC's & DOCG's over the past few years. Very surprising and pleasantly so. Don't miss doing a tasting there. Their other wines are quite nice as well - I had the reds and my wife had the whites. If you're a fan of reds, do not miss the Super Arizona.
The exterior of the tasting room has no curb appeal but the venue itself is quaint, the tasting room associate (Tara) was extremely knowledgeable and the wines were delicious, the best of the four tasting rooms we visited. I am a wine maker myself and have traveled throughout the country tasting wines; I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of all the PSC wines I tasted. A must visit in the Verde Valley.
After doing the wine tour in Temecula California last year we thought we would give it a shot while here in Sedona. While this location was cute it did not stack up to what we experienced out in Cali..Their selection is very limited here and vineyard small. The wine was pretty good and staff very friendly. Just not what we expected based on our last wine tour.
When visiting the Sedona area don't miss Page Springs. Located between Cottonwood and Sedona, is a small sheltered valley featuring top quality wineries. The best of these stops will be the Page Springs Winery. It's a little bit of Northern California Vibe in the high desert. There's a compact but tasteful sampling room with friendly and knowledgeable employees who all make you feel very welcome. Weather permitting, there's a comfortable deck overlooking the vines and Verde River or you can choose the living room style interior space. Their food offerings are meticulously created to match the quality of the wine list. As a reformed California "wine snob" I, along with my friends were delighted with the quality and variety of Arizona grown wines. A tip is to stop in on Thursday evening when wine flights of 5 varieties are offered at only $3.33 and food is discounted too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our seated wine-tasting at this winery! The tasting room has a really unique atmosphere, with couches, murals, and good music. Enjoyed the great wine flight, the knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the relaxing time. Will definitely return next time we are in the area, and would recommend it!
We love any opportunity to stop in to Page Springs Cellars. We actually ate lunch this time and were very happy. We also did a tasting as there were several new wines available. Lunch was delicious. We ordered the Mediterranean Plate, the Bacon Sliders and the Smoked Duck Pizza. My only (very small) suggestion would be that the sliders need more bacon....a few bites had none. There also needs to be more duck on the "duck" pizza. The lovely man (I am so sorry I forgot your name!)who poured our tastings and gave us some food suggestions was helpful and friendly.Looking forward to our next visit.
After reading several trip advisor reviews, we visited this winery first on our list in Cornville. The wines were good, but the outdoor patio and entertainment were a unique experience for a winery. Marika was our server and did a nice job of pacing our sampling and explained the wines. We ended up ordering a bottle of La Familia which was a unique red and paired well with the unique talent performing on this Sunday afternoon on the deck. Cheap Sunglasses duo was performing a fun assortment of sing-along type songs with flair. It was a fun experience in the desert!
We had a grand time at Page Springs. The wine was very good, and the servers are excellent. They are very knowledgeable, and are more than happy to find out what you're looking for and steer you in the right "flight".They also have an excellent food list; they were busy for lunch so they made us up a picnic basket that we took down to their patio creek-side area - it was very scenic.Highly recommended.
They have the better wine in the area and the best price too. We ended up there watching the sunset on the patio with a glass of apple-pear wine which was very good. Then I didn't want to leave so I took another tasting. Then I still didn't want to leave so I took a glass of wine, then another one to listen to the live music in the couch. I'm usually not a big fan of live music since it's usually too loud but this one was just perfect. And +1 to the server !
