I love a place that has samples for you to taste their products for sale. One taste of peach cider - SOLDOne tast of peach bread - SOLDThey also have other great items. We got black-eyed and yellow-eyed peas. Grabbed a bag of nectarines too.Wish they had a location in my area because now I have to wait two years to get more.
I have lived in the area before, and anytime my husband and I drive through, this is a must stop. I have gotten him hooked on this place. This roadside building is a must stop for anyone who loves fresh peaches, bread, jelly, jams, etc. There are soo many items to choose from, but we think that their fresh made fruit bread is the best, and anytime we drive through this area, we have to stop and pick up one of each flavor. Their peaches are wonderful, and the selection of jams and jellies make this stop a must do when passing through !!! Their fruit ciders are a must try too. Always great friendly staff.
Traveling along and needed a stop. Found this interesting and bought a few peach things that hadn't found anywhere else among their vast amount of choices.
For years now anytime I travel through Spartanburg, SC, it is a must to stop at Abbott's! Of course besides peaches, I buy all kinds of produce and their line of jams, salsa, chow-chow, etc. Normally, I have orders from family and friends for peaches as well, so the whole back of my car is full!
This Farm was really a very nice stop for me and my family (travelled week of August 22, 2013). We were travelling along I-95, in Florence, South Carolina and saw the signs on the road and we were not disappointed, but pleasantly surprised. Very clean restrooms as well. They have lots of free taste tests of most of the products that they have, all are delicious, including the different juices. They have Homemade Ice Cream, and Yes, it certainly tastes deliciously homemade. I highly recommend the Ice-Cream, which they sell in containers in their freezer. We bought Juice, fresh peaches, and Ice Cream, all were fantastic and we certainly will look for this place to stop in again if we are in the area. I know that this site mentions another location, but we were at their other location in Florence, and therefore my review is for the Florence, South Carolina location.Visit their website at: http://abbottfarmsonline.com/ Location in Florence: I-95 at Exit 157: 3810 Bancroft Rd. Florence, SC 29501Again, stop there and you won't be disappointed, they sell nice jams and other products as well.
If you are in the area or in Florence, you must stop here! Fresh juice, various preserves, jams jellies, chutneys, breads etc. They also sell a variety of other items and fireworks. Free samples. Great staff!
Peaches 28$ if I recall right a large basket all quite nice and enjoyableAtmosphere: cleaner bathrooms needed. Clean fresh fruit and ciders quite enjoyable Customer service: well.... it's fast and I revived correct change lmao We have been stopping here for years, the bathrooms could defiantly be cleaner and the staff more welcoming. Frankly peaches I can get anyplace, pleasant customer service well is a major plus and if I recall it's always the same in inviting invisible service with a ignore. We stopped last at 3pm July 22nd
Stopped on our way from FL and found some great souvenirs. There were fresh ciders jams and herbs and roots. We bought fireworks and ciders to share back home. This is what I learned there are grapes in the carolinas that are just delicious! The muscadine and scuppernong and these people have perfected the juice.
We stopped by on our way back home to South Florida. It was a Tuesday afternoon and there wasn't a car in the parking lot. We thought, "how great, we'll have the full attention of the staff!" WRONG. The woman behind the counter was extremely unfriendly, unwelcoming, and seemed quite bothered by us even being there. She couldn't answer any of our questions about the food goods. We still got some delicious ciders and peach butter despite her bad service. Not planning on returning.
Great billboard advertising... expected more selection and prices could have been much lower. They did provide some free samples. We purchased some fruit, which was good.
