This park is super awesome. Located above highway 75 in between uptown and downtown Dallas. This is a park with great views and plenty of fun activities for people of ALL ages.
The park is a great addition to downtown Dallas - it makes it seem like I'm living in a real city! Park is always busy on a nice weekend, but it is also very well maintained. Savor restaurant is a great spot for people watching and I love the bar space. Check it out!
I love how you are surrounded in trees with couples, families, dogs and frisbees at The Park and when you look up - you see the high rise buildings all around you.
A newish park built over an exisiting freeway that divided downtown and uptown, it now serves as a connector between the young families that live uptown and the vibrant downtown community. On any given day you can see yoga, childrens' activities, music, and all sorts of fun as the park has an obviously busy social calendar director who keeps things fresh and hopping.
Klyde Warren is an innovate, vibrant park in the art district. Spanning over the highway, it effectively connects Uptown to downtown and gives the whole area a sense of community and walkability. There are usually several organized things to do on a daily basis as well as frequent larger community events on the weekend that are free and fun! The trolley runs right by the park so you can take a nice trip to Uptown! Tip: The lines for the restroom are always long... just cross the street and use the free one at the DMA!
What a delight this park is!! Surrounded by beautiful towering buildings, this gem offers a great selection of food trucks, loads of seating, a great kids park, lots of room to run, a creative dog park, magazines and books to borrow and enjoy, board games, table tennis, badminton - all available free to use and enjoy! Add to that, lots of dancing water fountains, and all built on a highway flyover!Brilliant! Bravo Dallas!!
The park, as everyone here knows, was built over a freeway in the uptown/arts district. Lots of activities available (game equipment can be rented on site) and food trucks along one side. Great place for events, which happen frequently.
Park is over underground freeway. It has places to run around, get frozen yogurt, play a piano, run around, etc.
We enjoyed our time here. It does get crowded. It was a great view from the park and has lots of activities for families.
We timed our stop here to coincide with the food trucks for lunch. A really fun experience at a neat park right in the middle of the city. Such a great design over the highway in what must have certainly been an eyesore previously.
