Exterior and interior design is fitting for a beach town while enjoying a good book, a movie, video or just being able to use their computers and printers. Work of local artists amidst the shelves and shelves of books is a really nice touch too.
It has old school services and suits our needs. They have a variety of authors and inform us when books become available and when they are due by email which is convenient.
Have been here several times. The building is beautiful. It is a great place to go if it rains or if it is too hot to be outside. There is a kid's section that is great. There is free, internet service and computers for the public to use (you have to sign up for it). There is great artwork that lines the walls. Very spacious and lots of room to spread out. The only problem that we have had is the paid workers and the volunteers. Most have been rude and are fussy when you ask for help. However, this should not stop you from coming as, overall, it is a great place.
Great selection of books and DVDs. A great place on a rainy or cloudy day at the beach. Loved the atmosphere
This library is fairly new...has lots of good books, DVD s and a good selection of childrens books. For a very small fee ( good for a year ), you can check out all of these out for free, and also use their 2 rows of computers !
state of the art public library, great public servants, could use more Internet access during busy time periods, but a wonderful place
It feels a little funny to rate a branch library at the brash beach. But this one up near 100th St. is special. A new spacious light filled facility, never crowded, and the friendliest most helpful staff I've ever seen, mostly volunteers. Free wifi too. Excellent local history collection. Lots of DVDs and VHS movies. If you only visit OC as a summer tourist, you may not have much insight into the civic pride of the values-driven small year round community. All of the Worcester County public libraries but especially this one up the beach is a great window into that hidden side ofOcean City.
Lots to look at in the library. If you are a Maryland resident you can check out DVDs which is nice. Pretty building, nice people.
My husband frequents the library and always enjoys his visits. He can use the computer and get the books he wants to read.
As a Ocean City resident I really love our library. They have a wonderful layout. They have internet, electronic books, newspapers and of course books. Whenever I have had a question they went out of there way to be helpful.
