Terrific venue. Great blues jazz from all over. Bring you own food and drink. Not a bad seat in the house. Have gone many times. Staff is great too
The venue in a converted parking garage front holds approximately 200 at tables of 6 or 8 for approximately 35 to 45$ pp witha few rows of folding chairs avaiable for $25.Byo wine or food.We have always enjoyed the quality of the jazz--its all about the music, and have taken friends and family visitors several times. There are also some non musical shows available. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable and there areinadequate rest room facilities(long intermissions between double sets) but who cares as it it is abouyt the music!
This review is more for the show than the venue. We went today and were pleasantly surprised by this show. We had never been to this theatre before so didn't know what to expect. You can bring your own refreshments, we brought a cooler with beverages. Other people brought in sandwiches, nuts, etc. They sell sodas and little bags of chips but that's all. But the show was what was so great. The talent was really above what we expected. If you are a Johnny Cash fan or just like good country music go see this show before they leave. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Great entertainment and I like that you can bring your own drinks and snacks. I would definitely suggest making this place a priority.
Went to the Arts Garage to see the Philadelphia Story, a radio play. What an evening. This venue has, Jazz, Blues, and other types of art forms, all wonderfully entertaining.
This is the first venue where I go to watch a stage show and had to brng ALL my drinks and food, as none is served here. Not a problem to me, since I knew the situation beforehand. The show I saw had a talented cast, and I will be back if the show is a type I would enjoy.
Many creative people here are helping to make Delray a focal point for art and the performing arts. Many talented people are now helping to make this place a fine destination.
The Arts Garage is a gem tucked away on NE 1 Street in Delray Beach. Everything about the place is superb. From the seating to the music, my wife and I had a wonderful time. We brought our own wine and nosch and felt like we were at a picnic in the park. Don't miss it.
Wonderful intimate setting, cabaret style. Sometimes over over crowded and difficult to move about. Saw "I and Thou" and witnessed an incredible performance of a remarkable work. Like jazz? No place better and the variety of music and performers is awesome. In the neighborhood? Before you arrive, be sure to check out their schedule online. This is a must do in Delray.
The theater has 150 seats for musical events, called "Arts Garage" performance admission varies. Garage parking is directly above the theater, it's free. Polly Gibbons preforms here.
