Our hotel concierge suggested we visit the Distillery District and it was the best day! We roamed in and out of art galleries and boutiques. Lots of great shops and restaurants to explore!
Great spots to grab a coffee while you walk around the area. It looks like a movie set as it is perfectly preserved. All the shops and bars fit in with the history. Loved it.
The annual Christmas market is a must do if you're in the city. Booths selling mulled wine and sausages, St. Nick riding in on his white horse and carols sung every night. It really gets into the spirit of the holidays.
I love this place. It's all antique-looking, with boutique shops and cobblestone roads. It reminds me of Europe. There are also a few great places to grab some food and beer. A huge stress-reliever for sure.
This is such a great way to spend a day with friends or older kids. Its mostly restaurant's and shopping. Very relaxed and at Christmas is so beautiful.
We discovered this district for the first time on a hop on and off bus we caught at Yonge-Dundas Square. It was a great way to experience if first as we got a good dose of the history of this part of old Corktown. The area is a neat spot to stroll any time of the year. It really is best experienced with a guide who can describe the significance of what you are experiencing. Thee is a good selection of restaurants and pubs and curiosity shops.
