This "tourist attraction" is a very interesting place. 1st of all, it's been a beautifully restored building, furnished with authentic, historic, equipment, machines, tools, display cases, etc., from the 66 years that it serviced the travelers, & their vehicles, as they made their way from Chicago to L.A. Adjacent to the station is "The Ice House," also a historic building. There is an attendant at the "station" for providing tourist information, for "Route 66" & other area attractions. This is a very interesting town, & travelers come from all ove the world to see the "Americana" of the pre-interstate era. The town, with it's street, buildings, homes, & Historic 66 Route markers, are a national treasure. We visit often, never tiring of visiting, & always seeing so etching different in Dwight.
