This place was awesome! My 4 year old enjoyed riding Strawberry, the pony. Feeding the animals was so much fun. Some of the smaller animals were out in the open; so, you could actually feed and pet them with ease. There were several play areas to keep kids and adults entertained for the 3 hours we were there.
Drove out about hour in a half to get here and was not to impressed with everything they had to offer I suppose if we lived alot closer wouldn't mind it.
I have been taking my grandchildren to Lucky Ladd Farms for three years now. Every year I am amazed at how many new activities there are to do with the kids. It is a new adventure every time we go. Lucky Ladd Farm has taken every measure to make sure the activities are very clean and also that the wash facilities are filled with antibacterial products etc. A BIG plus for families with small children.I cannot say enough how much it means to me that the employees are so friendly and helpful to the kids when I know they must be overwhelmed and tired on the busy days when we normally go. In closing....a huge thank you to Lucky Ladd Farms for being so creative and something new to look forward to for me and the kids every year.
this is the best experience my kids have had in a long time. everything was great and the kids loved it (plus i did also) family friendly and great help form everyone there. thanks lucky ladd farms.
I came to this farms with my 3 kids and they just fell in love with the place... The bouncy water games, the animals, the bubbles were just few things that my kids enjoyed... Unfortunately it was raining on the day we went and the weather was a bit chilly, thus the kids couldn't stay long in the water.... However, I will surely go again in the summer
My family and I have been going to Lucky Ladd Farms since it opened and have never been disappointed. We even have family drive from Knoxville just to go to the farm with us each year. First let me give huge kudos to the staff! They are all so friendly and attentive. There are so many fun things for the family from the littlest ones to the adults. The animals, slides, corn box, and pumpkin chucking are our faves! And that's just a small portion of what there is to do. The food in the concession stand is great - especially the BBQ, and make sure you get some Kettle Corn and a Caramel Apple before you leave! And on a side note, the charitable owners partner with the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville by selling discounted tickets with the proceeds all going to RMH! All in all this place is hands down the best for family fun! Check them out especially during the fall but also throughout the year. Thanks Lucky Ladd for providing our family with wonderful fun and memories every year!
THIS IS RIDICULOUS! My family has enjoyed going to Lucky Ladd Farm to spend the day and let the children play and enjoy seeing the animals. It has always been a family friendly place UNTIL NOW! According to the OWNER, we can no longer bring any food with us for our lunch. WE ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE THEIR FOOD. They say it's their new policy based on their insurance. THAT'S RIDICULOUS! Even the Nashville Zoo allows people to bring sack lunches. Besides the FOOD AT LUCKY LADD FARMS IS HORRIBLE AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY!. We specifically asked the owner if we could bring baby food for our infant (since they don't sell baby food). The owner said NO ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD and we are limited to 20 OUNCES OF LIQUID! We won't be going back, THAT'S FOR SURE!!!!
What an awesome place! There's so many fun activities for the kids. We, the parents, had a blast too! The staff is so friendly and the facility is super clean. Can't wait to go back!!
We love to go to corn mazes, so that's what attracted us to Lucky Ladd. We normally drive to East TN, but decided to give a local place a chance. There was more to see and do here than just a corn maze and I'm sure we will be back again next year. HOWEVER, I was definitely disappointed that they were OUT of maps for the corn maze. Really? Can't you print more? I mean, at some point management must realize they're getting low on maps and still have crowds of people coming in. Print more maps!ANYWAY....there was lots to do here besides the maze. They have a massive petting zoo, hay ride from parking lot to the farm, tractor ride on a mile-long trail through the farm/woods, several slides, pumpkin shooters, pedal car race track, corn hole, swings, things to crawl thru/over/around, pony rides, and LOTS of photo opportunities. There are a couple of different places to get snacks and treats. We ended up getting corn dogs and homemade peach cobbler. No complaints! There was a condiment area with paper towels, hand sanitizer, and even a covered area to eat under. The maze was a Ford Symbol with a Mustang, due to the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang. We knew this because we looked online before we arrived. However, back to my complaint about not getting a map, we had no way to know where in the maze we were at and no souvenir of our trip. I love Mustangs and would have appreciated having a printout of the maze!
This is a fun time especially for families with children. There's a lot going on and it can keep them busy for hours with the animals, slide, maze, pumpkins, etc. We have been going for about 5 years and we don't have children. We enjoy the maze and the hayride. I've noticed that nothing really changes from year-to-year, it's always the same. The maze is sorgum, not corn, so it's not real tall. It's still a fun maze but if you come late in October it will be trampled and when we went it was a mud pit. They could easily have put down some straw in the muddy areas, a simple thing to do to accommodate the guests and make it more fun. There is no picture of the maze to guide you where the stops are which would be helpful. They could easily add a couple more stops inside the maze and occasionally check to see that there are pencils and punchers at the stops. It gets super busy on nice October weekends and the check-in line is long and moves slowly. They have a petting zoo but the animals do not look clean so this is a part I wish they would clean up and take better care of the animals. It's fun but a little bit of organization and investment would make it really special.
