Great experience..first time but not the last...visiting with small child we had no problem at all ,very well organised!
This was an attraction that my husband especially wanted to see. A basic level of fitness is required to do this tour as most of it is walking and you must descend and ascend steep stairs. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with mobility problems. Also it is quite chilly, so be sure to dress warmly and wear sturdy footwear. All that said, the caves are amazing! Such a variety of stalagmites and stalactites, and underground pools that are so still they are like mirrors. I would definitely recommend this attraction.
Always a fun way to spend an afternoon. Glorious scenery in the heart of Northern Ireland. Although perhaps better enjoyed in warmer weather. Child friendly also.
This was out of the way of most attractions, however we were interested in visiting as it seemed like such an unusual and neat tour. The tour guide was great! He was funny and knowledgable. It was a rainy day, however, we were fortunate enough to still be able to tour. Water levels could potentially cancel tours, so we recommend to call in advance if it's a heavy day of rain. The pictures you take will take during this tour will not do the caves any justice. What with your eye is far far fascinating.
I went in November but the caves were closed. The walk up to them was still well worth it. I went via the Cladagh Glen walkway which will take you out to the back of the Marble Arch Visitors Centre
This is a rare gem in the heart of the island! We took the tour with our two children, ages 12 and 2, and we were all fascinated! I highly recommend visiting the Marble Arch Caves; I doubt we would visit another "global geopark" because they are so far away.
We dropped into Marble Arch Caves unexpectedly as we were travelling between Blacklion and Farnham Estate . I'm really glad we did ! We had a fantastic tour from a guide name Ian . He was super and very knowledgeable about the area . Highly recommend.
Well worth a visit. Wouldn't go again but you only need to go once to say you've been :)Bit far out would need car
We enjoyed our tour of the caves. this is a little different because you get into a boat for about 10 minutes to go across an underground river. The only issue is that there's a lack of signposts to access the caves -- we tried to locate it by driving ourselves and got a little bit lost on our way.
On July my partner and I visited the caves and done the tour. Was a excellent choice the scenes below were fantastic and would recommend everyone that is down that way to visit and do the tour you will be amazed at the caves. Happy touring. .
