We did a kayaking tour looking for manatees with Kenny in Blue Springs State Park. It was unforgettable! Very knowledgeable, relaxed and fun. A day we'll never forget. They make everything very easy for you. We're recommending it to everyone we know!
This was a great time. We never thought we'd get so close to alligators. (Well, maybe a little TOO close...) And the herons are gorgeous. We'd definitely do this again.
I went on the Winter Manatee tour with Kenny and had a great time peddling along the St John River. We saw manatees, turtles, gators and lots of interesting birds. Kenny is the most relaxed tour guide you can imagine and his wife Jenny had been very helpful organising the trip for me. It has truly been an amazing experience, thanks very much guys !
Kenny & Jen made our kayaking adventure fantastic! ! Got to see and experience manatees in their natural habitat. Also alligators! A 10-12' footer! Lots of birds! Kennys amazing Barred Owl calling! (I swear I think he's part bird& owl man!!) The beautiful St. Johns river! The whole experience could not have been any better! Highly recommend this professional and wonderful couple to make your time on the river so very special!!!
We had the privilege of paddling the Silver River with Kenny on New Year's day. What a great way to start the new year! Kenny and his wife, Jenny, run an extremely professional business. Jenny handles the bookings and was an absolute joy on the phone. She is friendly, courteous and accommodating and provides outstanding customer service. Kenny, who leads the tours, is knowledgeable, experienced, entertaining and makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Kenny and Jenny provide all equipment (excellent kayaks and paddles) plus a few extras: coolers for each person's lunch, plenty of bottled water, bug repellent, sun block and even extra hats and sweatshirts if you need them. The tours are very fairly priced and well worth the money. Please don't pass up the opportunity to go on one--or more--of Kenny and Jen's tours. It will be an experience you will cherish. My husband and I travel to Florida from New York several times a year, and will absolutely book another tour on our next visit. Thanks again, Kenny and Jen!
We had a wonderful and relaxing kayak tour of the Wekiva River with Kenny. Lots of birds and turtles to see and beautiful scenery. It's a terrific way to spend a day in bustling Orlando so that you get in touch with quiet and peacefulness in the unspoiled outdoors.
I'm not into theme parks or tourist traps. I love being active, outside, and viewing wildlife in its natural habitat. When I discovered this kayak trip was a short drive outside of Orlando (where my parents are staying for the winter) I signed up. Wow. My husband and I had a wonderful time. The day was cold but sunny, and the wind was a challenge. However, Kenny the kayak guide lent me his gloves and coached us across the white-capped river. Lots of birds to see. We paddled through the woods (wow!). And of course, the manatees. An unforgettable excursion - I highly recommend it!
This was my second trip with Central Florida nature adventures, Jenny was really helpful organising our day out and we had a fantastic trip. So much wildlife to see, such a beautiful river and we couldn't believe we were kayaking with manatees, alligators and turtles. Well definitely be back, thanks guys.
We had a unforgettable eight people kayaking trip at Extreme Emerald Cut with Kenny :)You can see gators, turtles and many kind of birds out there.Jenny and Kenny are great persons and they really care about their customers.Kenny is also expert of Floridas nature and wildlife. This was our third trip with them and we will definitely come again!Highly recommend!
We have three kids aged 10, 9, and 5. We had three adults so all kids kayaked tandem with an adult. We went on the winter manatee tour and were blown away! Kenny was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy going! He was a great guide, teacher and new Florida friend! We experienced gators in the wild, magnificent bird viewings... Numerous! Enjoyed great blue herons nesting, vultures eating a meal!!. Gators sunning... We began to wonder if Kenny had somehow managed to strategically and perfectly place these wild animals! Haha! It was too perfect. But the real icing on the cake was the manatees!!Wow! We experienced 6-8 passing under and around our kayaks! One was even so curious as to hang around and sniff each boat...! Are you kidding me? We wee Iowa folk were blown away! Absolutely astounding! We will be back for more for sure!
