Been there several times over the years and always had a good time. Close to ocean front hotels for vacationers
Every summer they add something new!The adventure river is the best. I can stay there for hours. The food choices are not that great, mostly kiddie stuff, not really good for adults. The parking is a little weird, but they do have shuttles that will carry you from the parking lot. Make sure you check the tourist magazines, they always have coupons. The water slides are kind of confusing as to which line goes where, so just make sure you pay attention which line you are in. I love big daddy falls!
Love the kiddos play area! Lots of fun for kids & adults. The food is a little $$ but it is a great place to relax & have a good time
If you love the pool and your near Va Beach, Ocean Breeze is the place to go. Fun for all ages! They have live entertainment, friendly professional life guards, and staff. They offer small personal canopys to large family size for addition cost. Plenty of seating and a variety of concession stands. Our youth group ages four to seasoned adults enjoyed every minute. They had something for everyone. A large pool with real waves every 15 minutes, and mulitiple water rides, slides, and drops for all. They offer picnic packages for large groups as well. They do have a small picnic area outside the park if you choice to back lunch. The area is not so appealing though, but it is there. Over all our trip to Ocean Breeze was very good. We plan to return next year!
We just went to this waterpark on vacation to Virginia Beach. It was great. It was the perfect size for some fun as well as some relaxation. The park was clean and the staff friendly. We bought the $99 Groupon and it was an amazing deal (included lunch and admission for 4). Will definitely return the next time we are in the area.
Water is cold but very clean. Rides are okay. Food are so so like the rest of the other water parks. If budget is not an issue, Would definitely spare few more dollars and just go to water country usa.
I'm an old fuddy-duddy so water parks are not particularly my cup of tea..you know what is? My grand-daughter! And she LOVES this place! Her family has season passes and even talked me into one. The Lazy River is a real delight - just get on a tube, or not, and round and round you go. The water is quite forceful. And then there is the 'little person' area with their own baby-size lazy river, and 3 junior flumes, and lots of knee high (on a baby) wading water. The lack of seating in this area can be a problem on a busy day. There isn't a lot of shade and I think the cabanas are rather expensive to rent. The grown-up flumes look like a lot of fun - I'm sure the teens have a great time on those. Actually, I wouldn't mind trying those myself if I could get up those dang hills! Oh, yes, the wave pool. All nice and quiet and then you hear the music -- it's starting! Soon you are engulfed in ocean-like waves. The kids are crazy about it! There is also a pool just for swimming and cooling off. The food is pretty good for fast food - try the chicken fingers. They also have some deals on soda, popcorn, and meals where you buy a season pass -- definitely worth it if you will be making multiple visits. Next year's passes are on sale now - I just got an email. See you there....I'll be the one looking with longing at the grown-up flumes.
My eight year old grandson had a great time here. He went on all the rides and enjoyed himself immensely. It was extremely clean. There was plenty of seating for his Grandma. Wonderful day!!! I would recommend this for families.
We visited Ocean Breeze Waterpark on our recent vacation to Virginia Beach. My wife found out about the park through Groupon and we got a great deal that included admission to the park and lunch vouchers. We were a little concerned when we showed up and three school busses were parked in front if the main entrance, but overall we got to go on a bunch of rides with limited wait times. We had two children in the 3-5 age range and the kiddie portion of the park was well suited for them. My three year old really liked the little Amazon kids lazy River. With his mesh bottom tube he rode around the river over and over again. The big kid/adult rides were fun. I personally enjoyed the water slides and the cliff slides. My 5 year old niece even did the cliff slide with a little bribery. The wave pool was huge and wheN you hear Queen's We Will Rock You start up, you new the wave action was about two begin. The lockers were reasonably priced, and easily accessible. The food wasn't gourmet, but there were a bunch of options for a family to feed themselves. Please note that outside snacks were not allowed in the park. Since we had our 3 year old the ticket taker let us slip them in.Biggest thing to watch out for is the other guests not having common sense. No running near pools and no splashing water. Adults and teens alike were not aware of their surroundings and our son was splashed or knocked into multiple times. The staff wasn't enforcing rules, so we had to talk to some of the guests ourselves.Would definitely come back when our son is older to enjoy more of the bigger water slides.
The park itself is very nice they have a lot to choose from the problem I had it was only supposed to be thrity dollars to get in and when you got up to the window to pay they wanted more money for another pass to move ahead in line the place was packed and you wait forever to get on a ride I probably won't go there again because of that I like the beach better it's free and we had more fun also no long lines to wait in also if you get the pass to move ahead in line just know that a hundred other people bought the same pass so it's a long wait anyway well for us it was
