Very nice and clean beaches, safe, young party people.Very good restaurants and parties.Good shopping area.
Nice to play in the water, as waves will not break (you just go up and down) and sand if flat, so very safe. Water was warmer than the average in Florianopolis. The beach is as full of people as those in Rio de Janeiro, which I really dislike. Beautiful houses around, good-looking people, girls dressed in the latest fashion. No good for families with small children.
Beaches are crowded, but it was Saturday peak season. However, there was a sense of respect of one another, and you don't get any pressure sales. Plenty of choice of food, drink and shopping whilst you sun bathe! Some bars also blessing out music if that's your taste but you can walk on. Worth a visit for beach atmosphere and nice beaches.
Spent New year in Jurere with family and friends.Lovely breach, clear and warm water, gold sand and great weather.Expensive snacks by the beach, but you pay for the convenience.
On first sight the beach looks nice, but after walking a bit you discover condoms everywhere in the sand.Next to this the beach don't have any trees where you can get a bit of shade
It's the kind of place to go if you like to enjoy see other's people Ferraris (not my cup of tea)... But the sea has a really great color.. It's also very calm... And there is what they call an open air shopping mall, a nice street where you can eat a good ice-cream and a snak or where you can, of course, shopping...
Most wonderful place for a beach day! Calm waters and clean beaches! Best beach day in 20 years for me personally because the crowds did not disturb my comfort zone!
Go to P12 for a Vegas/Miami blend type of pool party.. Plenty of food, great DJs and hot ladies. Be prepared to shell out 100 riyals for entry but it's worth it. One of the best pool parties I've been to. Taiko is more for lounging and ocean views. Beach is beatiful for sights
Jurerê is a pleasant beach in the northern part of the city. Facing the bay, it does not have the rough waves of the open ocean. In the summer, it is recommended to arrive early. Parking is easy if you can make it until 10 a.m. After that time, you may find it difficult to find a good parking spot. The sand stretch is a bit narrow, so it really gets crowded on more popular dates, such as Chrisimas-New Year or Carnival. Well provided with beverage and food options. Water is clear and usually not too cold. Our beach of choice in Florianópolis (we live in the central part of the city)
A nice beach to go with your family. The ocean is very calm with few waves and you can stay there the whole day just enjoying the peace. There are kiosks with limited options of meals and beverages but I prefer this way instead of kiosks with loud music and fried potatos...:-)
