A great beach. Beautiful, close to the city, good access. If you're gay man, that's your place. Tons of all kind of gay men.
Really lovely rock formations on the hills and North of the beach. Sand was soft and water clean and not too cold. Beach vendors for all sorts of stuff- chairs, snacks, clothes etc. actually I saw one selling clothes that had a sign up showing all the credit cards he took- even Amex & Diners which I thought was hilarious! Beach bars play music and Mango bar had a party on for Sunday night which was cool with good vibes. The bus to go there, you can wait for awhile & it gets really full- R3.10 per ride On the Sunday the traffic heading towards town was bumper to bumper from 4pm. We ended up leaving at 10pm and walking the 30 mins to Loago and beat the bus there.
Praia Mole is the most popular beach in Floripa and the location for the gay beach. It's gorgeous and not too crowded. My only warning is the Deca bar's music. If you're into circuit party music at 11 a.m., this is your place! It would be such a gem if they got the music right. A little more chill and a little less pots and pans and it would be perfect. Check out Galheta, next beach over. Desolate and perfect :)
it is one of my favourites beaches ever. beautiful views , nice waves for surfers , young adult crownd mostly , and many beach bars with amazing servisse , drinks and food for a worthy price! Come na enjoy
This beach is very tranquil and the scenery with the mountains and rocks is perfect. There are a few places to get a bite to eat and enjoy...
Really beautiful beach and found it to actually be quite clean. Parking is available along the road for around R$10. A mix of locals and visitors and a number of cabanas/bars along the length of it. The gay bar is the furthest north playing pop music (Bar Deca). There is a great rock formation at the very north of the beach to climb/clamber on. You can keep on walking north to the next beach which is quieter and a really nice stroll, just being aware that the northern end is nudist.
Overwhelmingly beautiful beach, interrupted only by the odd beach bar, set tastefully back against the dunes. You will marvel at the vast expanse of perfect sand and be seduced by the scenery and the waves. I can't wait to go back.
Nice big beach but better for surfers than swimmers. Water is cold and waves are big. Just few possibilities to eat or refresh - better to bring your own.
What a nice beach! Maybe not the best to swim at, better for surfing, but the sand is gorgeous, the water blue and everyone looks like they just fell off the runway. Thankfully all the beach bars are set back so there's lots of uninterrupted views! A beauty.
This beach is know by having a lot of surfers and this atracted a lot of young people. You can rent chairs right there if you want (R$10 for each one). You cab also spend the day in nice "bangalô", little confortable tents in the bars. There you can enjoy the view with a great drink and food service... But you and your friends have to spend at least R$300 to stay in a bangalô.
