We could access this easily from the Granbury town square. Its well kept and continues to be improved. We walk here each of the three mornings we were in Granbury.
This was a very nice place to walk in the morning for my husband and myself while we were stay in the town. It's located in downtown on the side of the chamber of commerce. If you like to walk or ride bikes you need to check this out.
A great place to walk, run, bike, skate between down town Granbury and the Granbury Airport. It's clean, well kept, and safe. Check it out as a visitor or a local resident.
For such a small town, we were really impressed by this hike-and-bike trail. We went around 7:30 on a Saturday morning and the weather was cool. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because we only saw two people during the hour we were on the trail, so I don't know that I would have felt safe if I were alone. However, there were some real highlights - a very nice park, a frisbee golf course, a dog park, and lots of information along the way about the city.
The hike and bike trail is actually quite nice. It is wide enough for bicyclist to pass pedestrian traffic safely. The trails takes you through city parks, baseball parks, frisbee golf, a dog park, and a creek. In addition, there are plenty of places to stop, and relax if needed. I look forward to when the City adds on to this trail by building the bridge that is needed on the south side to enhance the length of the trail.
For such a small town, this is one BIG park, complete with frisbee park, ball fields and an extensive bike and walking trail. Congrats to the city parks board for such a nice free firm of entertainment. Plenty of trees and even a creek.
Very nice. Wish it was bit longer though. looks like they have the room to add more trails
Pretty, clean, shaded, paved bike/hike trail. Used it several times during my two week stay in Granbury. Kudos to Granbury for providing such a nice trail for its residents.
This trail is very well maintained, family friendly, and a must try experience. It winds around a very picturesque park. You will see people of all ages enjoying their walks, run, and bike time. A few animals like geese, deer, and squirrel.
The City of Granbury is famous for things like this. The great beach they built. The remarkable Town Square. But they didn't forget the hiking and biking trail wich is beautiful, paved, has restrooms and is well taken care of. I love it. You will too!
