Booked 4 spa treatments for a girls get-away before my daughters surprise engagement. I spoke with Kim, I think, at the desk weeks before and when we walked in she remembered our conversation. The atmosphere was so relaxing and you have use of the sevices all day. The service in this area was so helpful and they work deligently to keep the area extremely tidy with used towels, water containers and etc. We had one issue with a massage and when I questioned it, the desk immediately offered a couple solutions which completely corrected the situation and made for a very pleasant experience. Fireplace by hot tub, fire place by lap size pool, the ability to order lunch in and stay in your robes or cover ups, everything was just lovely. What a nice start this made to the unsuspecting bride-to-be!
Gorgeous craftsman style lodge with 240 room, 6 cottages, ballrooms, 3 restaurants, the best golf around, and beautiful Lake Oconee. No wonder why this is where Carrie Underwood decided to book the entire Ritz for her wedding! You must stop by for food at Gabby's overlooking Lake Oconee for a breath of fresh air and beautiful scenery to lower your blood pressure.
The staff is most friendly and helpful. The facilities are outstanding! I received a custom massage from Amanda. She is wonderful...locates your trouble spots, offers helpful suggestions, and I walked out feeling like a million bucks! Been to her twice and won't go to anyone else in the future!
This spa is wonderful and a great value I had the signiture organci facial and spent the afternoon in the sauna and hot tub relaxing. Wendy gave me a wonderuful facial. It was really a wonderful experience. You can use the spa if you are just staying there so you can still get all the benefits without paying for a treatment if you don't want on.
The spa is lovely and the indoor pool with the fireplace and gorgeous vaulted ceiling is wonderful..
We just returned from our second stay at this resort. Overall, it was another awesome experience and we will definitely be returning. That being said, the rooms are beginning to look tired and showing their age. We always upgrade for a lake view and it is well worth it!! The pool area is very nice and bar service is outstanding!! We never leave the property for a meal as there are a few excellent choices!! Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation offers first class service from the moment you arrive. We will be back~
I have been too many four seasons and ritz spas this one is right at the top!! E X C E L L E N T!! Spa area beautiful and the massages was terrific! Book early so you get one!!you will regret if you miss it!!
We have been utilizing The Ritz since it opened. Living in Reynolds Plantation provides us access to all the events that take place at the hotel that are open to the public. Plenty of adults and kids to do here. Not a large property so your navigation is easy. The Oconee golf course is on the property. Thus, golf, boating, dining (both upscale and very casual in Gaby's) make this a great destination.
We got a couples massage, and it was really great! The couples room is very big, and the therapists knew exactly what they are doing. I feel bad, but I am more excited about the spa area! There was so much to do- eucalyptus steam room, sauna, and then you would walk into a whirlpool or cold plunge. The steam room was great for opening up pores! There is also a multiple stream/faucet (?) shower. The changing room is very good- an attendant assigns you a locker based on shoe size, and there are private rooms for you to change into your robe. There is also a soothing waiting area before/after your treatments, where there are the latest gossip magazines, with water and snacks. The indoor pool is INCREDIBLE. It is heated and there are chairs to lounge around it, with newspapers and magazines. There is also a whirlpool in front of a fire place that is fun as well. You can also order food from the spa- my husband ordered lunch and it was very tasty and fresh.Make sure you book in advance- they said that they are busy all year round.
I will start by saying this was a very nice spa and I had a wonderful day there. My hot stone massage was wonderful. The treatment rooms are very comfortable. I went on a Saturday and the waiting room where you can sit in quiet before your treatment was full so it seemed a little cramped. It’s not very big. When I go to a spa, I look forward to using the facilities just as much as I do the spa treatment. Relaxing, reading, sitting in the hot tub, steam room, etc. Having lunch in my robe and slippers (the food was great – a limited menu, but it was nice.) I was able to do all of that - no complaints. The one thing I was disappointed in was the products. The shampoo stripped your hair so much it felt like hay. I wasn’t the only one with this observation, either. There were several of us! You had to use TONS of conditioner. And none of it smelled all nice like you would expect – the body wash, the lotion. I know this is petty, but this is the Ritz! The treatments are expensive, but that is what I would expect from the Ritz. Another thing I would expect is luxury at every turn. The products are not luxurious. I gave this review a 4 instead of a 5 because of that.
