This was across the street from the Kids Commons Museum. Grandson's 2 & 4 seen the indoor playground from outside so we went in for a visit. ALOT of kids all in a small indoor play area. Some parents were not supervising their children and seen no employees around to keep kids under control. Only stayed about 15min.
We take our kids here atleast once a month. The playground is awesome. They have a Subway and Snappy Tomato pizza in the playground area as well. It is very family oriented. The Chaos is neat to watch when it is running.
This is a wonderful indoor playground for kids to play year round! The playground is free and lots of restaurants close by to dine that are kid friendly as well. The Commons is located in the heart of the downtown area with plenty of street parking and parking garages.
Cant beat the price and the kids have fun running and playing! The food court is nice for a quick lunch....maybe have more places for the adults to sit.
You can take the kids here for a nice day to play, and grab a bite. They have meeting rooms also that are very nice.
We came here to have some family time. We all enjoyed ourselves! we played at the playground then went to the children's museum, had lunch at an old ice cream parlor then went on a bike ride on the People Trail. It was a great day away.
We didn't look around much, but didn't need to beyond the neat kids' place. The architecture & artwork was unique (as is the case in many Columbus stops), but the free indoor playground was a lot of fun for our children. They want to go back.
If you have little ones and you're on a budget, go here. This place is awesome. Even my 14 year old slightly enjoyed. Really awesome for ages 3 to 12. I would even set up a play date and drive from Indy for this place. On a nice day, you could go visit the park on the river when you're done. It's one of the best things Columbus has to offer for the kiddos.
This downtown rebuild of an older "Commons" features an intriguing metal sculpture, "Chaos" with moving parts an a children's playgroud that they love. The 2nd floor has a large meeting/concert area that is a big plus over the old Commons.
It was a rainy day when we visited this with our children, they played for almost two hours while we sat and talked. Lots of fun and inexspensive. Afterwards we headed to an old vintage style soda shop across the way, it was awesome!!!!! I would highly recommend.
