We went on a last minute trip to Parrots in Paradise today, we were in luck that Mark, are guide was available as normally you should book in advance, which we were not aware of. Mark explained us every parakeet and parrot, where it come from, to which family it belongs, what it's origin is. We were very pleased with his explanation. The homes of the birds were very clean and in our opinion the birds are treated very good! A real gem hidden indeed, as you only see the signs when you are allmost there. So don't forget to note the address down before going there.
you can feel the real life of the world when you will stay in Beerwah coz you can see the natural beauty of the earth. if you want to stay away the noise of the city just came to the said place and you can feel the beauty of it.
What a fabulous place to visit for all ages can't believe we haven't been before now! Its easy to find just off the Bruce highway before Australia Zoo. Its best to book in before hand if you want to watch a show this can be done by email or telephone. We were greeted by friendly staff and given beverages before the show. The show was excellent lasted almost 2 hrs. Not only did the birds perform many wonderful tricks but we were very well educated about several varieties of parrots. After the show we spent a few hours walking around the open air Avery's which are all under cover should it rain! There is a picnic area should you wish to take a pack up and a little shop that sells a few small craft gifts to help raise funds for veg bills and feed etc. I can highly recommend a visit to parrots in paradise you will not be disappointed its full of fun and information for the young and the old. We are already booking our next visit!!!!!
It's you like parrots. they are a place where you have to be!! Parrots in paradise! Nice peoples work there. The show is fun and you gonna know how parrots are amazing!
We did a bus trip of 48 people to see these amazing parrots that talked and did tricks. Everyone enjoyed the experience. The lunch of fresh sandwiches was well presented and the platters of local fruit was lovely.
I have been to the show 5 times over the last 3 years. We have a lot of relatives visiting from overseas. As part of taking them to the Sunshine Coast we always stop in at Parrots in Paradise to the see the bird show. It is great value for the admittance charge. The birds are very well trained. The range and colours of the birds leaves our guest with a great feeling. I highly recommend the detour off the highway to se the show.
Love the interaction of the birds with people and the care given to them. Such a peaceful spot as well. Lovely people who run it.
while we were in Europe for 5 weeks our Sun Conure stayed at Parrots in Paradise. She was so well looked after it was such a peace of mind that she was staying somewhere with someone who knew about all her little demands and tricks, as we are booked to go away again, she has booked her bed back here.
Thank you for your kind comments, makes all our work worthwhile.Dail
