A seaside park with hundred year old trees is more unique than rare. Glen Cove is lucky to have it! Great summer nights concerts!
Love the park.Summer views are spectacular.Great fire works show on the Fourth of July. Our children used to play on the beach all the time. And it was at that stone gazebo that I propose to my wife 23+ years ago. Took our wedding photo there too.
This is a tranquil and picturesque park with beautiful views of the water. I love to take a walk, or sit and read a book, or just go to clear my head. There is a small beach and it's a great place to bring a chair and umbrella in the summer and just relax. I was so excited to discover this park in Glen Cove. Easily accessible, not crowded even in the spring and summertime. The only time it is crowded is during the summer when they have evening concerts.
My family and I visit this park several times a year. The beautiful sunset bouncing off the water, the top-shelf entertainment, the serenity....there's nothing like it on the Northshore. There are wonderful nature trails by the water and on a clear day you can almost touch Connecticut. We're looking forward to our series of trips there this summer and especially during the St. Rocco's Feast at the end of July. Can't recommend this jewel enough.
Invite friends and or family to an afternoon at the park. There are ample picnic and play areas. The park often hosts concerts during the summer months. Make sure to get on their email list. Oh, and don't miss the free fireworks on July 4th.
this park has it all, beaches, paths, events, great sunsets. the beaches overlooking long island sound are just beautiful. there is a great walk along the water to a stone gazabo. a beautiful place to visit!!
Take a break today and take a loved one to Morgan park in Glen Cove. Located on the sound it's a great place to spend a few hours relaxing with lots of places in the sun and shade.
Great walking paths and hills for those look for a bit of activity, lovely water views and beach walking, saw some people fishing. Tough to find, but a nice spot to visit.
A trip to Glen Cove is not complete with out participating in the 7/4 family picnic. I remember my father and next door neighbor leaving the house at 0500 hrs to enter snd save space. It was worse the tailgating at Candlestick!!The beach was perfect, the grassy picnic areas were for your families, young lovers had lots of trails and nook areas to be alone.Great memories going back to 1956-1970!
I go for a walk here every other day. It is a beautiful park here in glen cove, with water views & plenty of bench's to sit on. It has a small beach with snack stand. There are some steep hills to walk so be careful. Also some nights there is free music, check it out.
