I now love champagne more than anything! So many kinds you can't imagine!the people who work here were they nicest and most welcoming of all the winerys we went to!Lunch in the cafe was excellent with the hugest chocolate covered strawberries ever! I even got a case of champagne for mothers day! I want that every year!no other winery visit was more fun!
Take a tour, take a taste, have a picnic, enjoy the view! After 45 years of regular visits, it never gets old.
This is a beautiful winery. The tour is short but very interesting. Enjoyed the tasting and lunch at the deli.
The tour was very good. Champagne and wine tastings were excellent. And all for free! Highly recommend!
This part of California is beyond words. If you enjoy champagne you must stop. People are friendly and the tasting room is generous with the goods. The scenery is perfect and the grounds are immaculate. Even with kids this is awesome and worth the time. Great setup for some awesome picture taking, too.
love the deli. great food and a wonderful selection. You can dine in or take a picinic! tasting room is expansive and tastings are free!!!
I'm not a fan of champagne but this was a cool place to visit and tour. Free tasting and free tour. Tour tells how korbel started and shows how champagne was made and how it's made now.
I don't like champagne until today. Tasted some really good stuff and walked away with a bottle of champagne and brandy. The tour was interesting and informative. A must stop on your wine country tour.
One of the best wineries we visited during our recent trip to Wine Country, set in beautiful scenery, and definitely one of the more attractive wineries (IMHO).The delicatessen had a fine selection of foods, all of which were tasty, can recommend the bags of popcorn they sell here, the sandwiches were also pretty special. The free wine tasting was excellent, with the hosts being both knowledgable and very approachable and also very generous with their samples. Can recommend their Muscato Frizante! awesome!
We did not opt to take the tour since we were scheduled to go to several wineries on Saturday. The buildings were beautiful and looked very European. We were surprised that the four wine tastings were free. It was very crowded but the staff kept up with the crowded bar and told us about each wine. I did choose the champagnes but was not that impressed enough to buy. In another building is a deli where a person can buy lunch, soda, wine and Russian River beer. We tried the Pliny the Elder beer but the taste was too hoppy for me. I know it has won awards and this beer is hard to find. There is a gift shop and we did buy some Korbel champagne glasses.I would recommend trying this very famous winery.
