It's old and outdated. Water is freezing at all times. My last visit I noticed a snake skimming across the water. Does not seem to attract families. Lots of teens etc..
it was a good inexpensive day out with 9-11 year old boys. They have plenty to keep them busy but not alot for moms other than watching your kids.
Not very impressed. Only two water slides, small pond, old facilities, pretty expensive. Kids had fun, but adults not so sure.
we came last year with our nephews family from texas ,they enjoyed it so much .we are coming back in july
3 Generations of my family have went there. it not fancy or huge. but its nice, friendly down home southern place to be. wouldn't choose anither place to spent my summer.
We had a good time but the facilities need to be updated. If you're expecting chlorinated water, this is not the place for you. Pep's Point centers around a man-made pond made from damming up a small creek flowing through the property. They pump the water from a pond to the top of the water slide so you can expect a brown water ride. This wasn't a turnoff for us but may be for some. The slide rules are lenient and slanted toward fun; be prepared to be your and your children's safety net. I took some great GoPro video footage going down the two slides but neither were very fast. The best part was being able to back up our vehicles to a reserved picnic table and hang out grilling and enjoying the day. The waterslide just helped keep us cooled off.
A great way to keep cool in the hot summer heat! The slide is really refreshing after the climb back to the top and there are lots of other water activities as well. Go and check it out!
It could be a lot better. You just have to remember this is an outdoors place complete with snakes, spiders, and bugs....
This place is small but offers a variety of things - slides (be careful though and use a mat!), paddle boats, lake, grills, games... Idk the price now, but worth it if you can get a deal and spend the day there.
Want to go where the locals swim, splash, and have some good ole South Mississippi fun? Well that will be at Pep's Point. You're not from here? Well, come on and join the hullabaloo. It's a southern thang.
