We attended the Worlds Greatest Hobby Show at the HRCS. A bright lobby welcomes you. Clean restrooms and good concessions food!
Even though new--the convention center seemed dated. From the concrete floors in the exhibit room to the lack of public seating in the common areas (low cushioned benches without backs). Also, even thought the center was cooler than outside--the humidity was high inside.
I was here for a large conference. The building is huge, but very attractive. The people were good to work with. The only two negative were the lack of wifi in the main halls and the uncomfortable chairs. The chairs are good for a day, but are real hard on day two
I'm surprised that a rather small city would have such and fine center. It is located directly across from the coliseum which is also impressive from the outside. (I didn't get inside)
It was great again this year, all the cosplays and the friendly people and staff. I enjoyed myself immensely.
Easy parking, clean facility, great catering services. Appears to be able to handle many different events at the same time. I love the art on display.
Great location, easy access and good parking. Convention Center is large, spacious and well maintained. Facility employees were great to work with. Large number or restrooms so never waiting lines. Wi-Fi service would definitely make this the perfect place!!
I attended a several-day convention here. The floor layout and bourse were set up just right. Lots of room betweek the aisles. Seminar rooms were good; AV equipment was provided when necessary; although it seemed that there could have been a couple more; we had to have some activities in the main hallway because the rooms were all used up. There were restrooms both inside and outside of the convention halls. One concern that I have is that they are not clearly marked where you can see them from a distance down the hall. I had to ask someone a couple of times where the restrooms are. Also, it seemed that the rest rooms would run out of paper towels more often than normal. I kept a few napkins in my pocket after the first day for when it happened again.Good informative displays in the hallway. Parking was free surface parking; sometimes a little walk, but I was able to make it. Some of the directional signage from the connecting streets leading to it needs to be improved. Once I found my way around, driving to it was no problem.
Attended the IPMC in August very beautiful building for a conference. Within walking distance from many major hotels and we did walk to and from the conference. Very clean area and building is very well kept.
We were there for the Mid-Atlantic Quilt show. The facility is large and spacious and the staff helpful and friendly. They use the Embassy Suites to cater the meals and they are absolutely delicious. I attend this function every year and find it a wonderful place to revisit
