Walkers, runners, children, huge picnics, art, proms and proposals...you never know at this beautiful park!
Fun, pretty & lively! There's a nice place to run or throw the ball around. The arch is gorgeous & you must see the roses!
Peaceful and beautiful with trails everywhere. There is a small playground for the kids, a rose garden, gorgeous tree lined walking paths and historic homes all along the park. If you watched We Are Marshall, this is highlighted in it.
Great flower gardens, excellent walking trails and good amphitheater. Park is immaculately cared for. A bright spot for Huntington.
I loved running these trails. I used to live right next to the main park area (playground) and it was very convenient to have nearby. I especially love the trail tucked back into the woods. It's much safer here than it used to be.
You must get out and enjoy Ritter any time of year! It is a magical place! The rose garden is beautiful!
One of the great urban parks in America. Well worth a visit in any season. Huntington should be proud to have such an attraction and it shows.
My aunt lives near there so I wandered down. Very cool. It is a national park. Lots of space to jog, play sports, etc. Playground equipment for kids, lots of good spots for pictures, plenty of friendly squirrels!
Great walking paths. There is a trail called PATH (I think it is named for Dr. Paul Ambrose, who died in 9/11 and was a Marshall Medical School graduate--PATH stands for Paul Ambrose Trail for Health. You can walk about 4 miles along a shady creek on the path.
Ritter Park is such a beautiful place to visit. It's in a beautiful part of town beside some of Huntington's most lovely homes, it's safe, and there's plenty of amenities such as water fountains, playground equipment, swings, restroom facilities and walking/running paths. Whatever your interest, you will love Ritter Park!
