Очень интересно - совсем маленький остров, на котором находится оборонительная крепость, которая использовалась как тюрьма, а сейчас там живут... Кролики ))) Интересно погулять по крепости - 30-40 минут достаточно

Осмотр острова-крепости Мамула входит в экскурсионную программу на пляж Жанице. Этот объкт есть на всех туристических картах как Ластовица - остров Ласточки,но, к сожалению, не входит пока в список туристических мест Черногории, охраняемых Юнеско. Остров заброшен и никем не охраняется, кроме живущих там кроликов. Вместе с тем, дух австрийского генерала Лазаря Мамула, по приказу которого была встроена крепость, здесь всё-таки царит. Остров и крепость Мамула обладают всеми достоинствами морского форпоста. Вокруг крепость окружена рвом, вход в неё обнесен мощными воротами. Внутри крепость можно обойти за 20 минут и даже забраться внутрь центрального сооружения.

It is a good place to visit in Montenegro. You can feel the atmosphere of old fort, spaces and historical actions that took place on this little island. Before going, make sure you took swimming glasses and sea shoes.

Остров в открытом море, недалеко от Жанице. Прогулрчные катера сюда приплывают по дороге в Голубую пещеру. Или возят отдыхающих с пляжа Жанице. Чистое море, голубая вода. Сам форт произвел неоднозначное впечатление. Полуразрушеное здание, в прошломконцлагерь. Сохранились некоторые записи заключенных на стенах. По лестнице не решилась подниматься, так как не была уверенна в безопасности. Сама по себе трусиха, поэтому рисковать не стала. Никаких ограничений, охранников нет. Поэтому будьте осторожны. Само место красивое, но история его гнетет и долго оставаться в самом форте я не смогла. Хотя прекрасно искупались в чистейшем море.

Главное, попасть на Мамулу НЕ в сезон. Это очень красивый остров со своим настроением. Если кроме вас на Мамуле больше никого нет, то проникаешься аурой места. Остров представляет собой старую крепость,где в разное время были оборонительный форт, тюрьма или лагерь для военнопленных. Можно побродить по форту, понаслаждаться видами. Единственный минус - это вездесущая славянская загаженность всех скрытых углов.

Очень красиво. На сам остров, где расположена крепость мы не поплыли, т.к. в марте еще не сезон и навигации нет, но с апреля уже можно отправляться на экскурсию. Туда возят на лодках экскурсии. Мы любовались с берега. Впечатление очень яркое, как и от всей Черногории: остров почти круглой формы, вокруг вода потрясающей красоты и цвета. Место историческое: крепость основана в 19 веке генералом Мамулой для охраны Которского залива. Зрительно хочется запомнить это место и сфотографировать глазами.

Partiamo con un taxi acquatico da Herceg Novi e si arriva dopo una mezz'ora all’isola di Lastavica, dove nel XIX sec. fu costruita dal Generale Lazar Mamula dell’esercito austro-ungarico l’omonima fortezza, utilizzata durante la I e la II guerra mondiale come carcere. Il sito non è ben tenuto, erbacce e sterpaglie un po’ dappertutto, ma è molto bello soprattutto il mare intorno. Sostiamo qui 45 minuti.

When we booked our boat trip we were told this fort was a prison built in the 1800's. The real history of this real gem of a place is far more desperate. Originally built in 1853 by an Austro Hungarian General. From May 30th 1942 during WW2 the fort was used as a concentration camp by fascist Italy. I would go back here and will seek more history about it too. It has been left to nature really. It has a beautiful setting. The views are astonishing with the blue sea encircling the island. It's only a shame there isn't more of an attempt to preserve the site. There are no information boards, no safety notices. It may be dangerous for kids so keep them close as there are no safety measures in place. Well worth a visit but keep in mind the awful fact that people were tortured here when it was a concentration camp and respect the site accordingly.

Another experience to remember and share is diving near Mamula island or Luštica as some call it. The visibility is spectacular and the time spending diving there was not a waste. A few friends of mine and I were at Mamula first to explore the forgotten island and to see if it was interesting and head to Žanjic beach but instead we spent and entire day on Mamula, swiming and diving. The experience was simply amazing since we were alone on the island and we had that adventuristic sensation of exploring a new world. There is much to see, from the waterfront to the tall wals of the fortress to the old prison cells (since Mamula was a prison during both world wars) the next adventure will be camping on Mamula, and i hope to post pictures and videos from our next adventure. if you want to see more go to: http://letsgotomontenegro.com/fort-mamula/

Diese alte Gefängnisinsel zu besuchen versetzt uns in frühere Zeiten. Die Festung bewacht den Eingang in die Bucht von Kotor. Aber die Gemäuer haben auch traurige Zeiten erlebt als die italienischen Faschisten dort jugoslawische Partisanen eingesperrt hatten. Heute wohnen in der Festung Kaninchen und hoppeln durch die Gegend.
