Should listen to the story of the sailor le Bourdais who survived a shipwreck, had both legs amputated and stayed on as the Island telegraph operator.
We spent a happy few hours at this delightful, small museum. There is a reasonable admission charge which is well worth the cost. The exhibits are thoughtful and educational and give an informative overview of the history of the Islands and their settlement. Thankfully the narratives are in English as well as French, which is useful for us Anglophones who seem to be in the minority amongst the tourists to these Islands.
Nice shop, good ideas, original concept. Defintely worth a visit. Evolves around sand (obvisouly)...but with an interesting perspective. Lots of ideas for an original sandy reminder of those beautiful islands
So well organized and comfortable chairs while yo wait for your husband to ready very single word :)
