I last visited this place in 1985 and while the place has changed a lot since then - specifically the landslide that ended access to the lower falls - the amazing tranquillity of the place is still there. The rainforest walk to the Minimurra falls is worth the effort and the magnificent old trees on the walk are simply breathtaking. If only they could talk. This is a great place for a wonderful rainforest experience.
we went here to see the falls and you guess what, it rained. The road to get here is better than most rides in a theme park as winds up the mountain. Anyway it a site to see the fantastic range of tree bushes and the shrubs that fight they way up to get to the sun is something to see. The trail in long and steep, and the rope bridges are wobbly to say the least but it's all worth it, so; if you in the area spend at least half a day here, you'll never forget it.
See Minnamurra Falls review. Way better than Jamberoo and Illawarra Tree Top Walk. One of the best places I have ever visited in Australia
A bit of a trek but definitely worth it. The scenery is amazing. The trees and fauna are fantastic, definitely take a camera, so many things to photograph and show friends. Centre is very well equipped and staff very helpful.
One of the highlights of the area which is quite beautiful - lovely walks, birds and wildlife and wonderful waterfalls. Fee probably depends on how big your family is but I was by myself and didn't think it was overpriced to support a national park.
A couple of hours to walk round the track, longer if you stop to enjoy the trees and the odd lyrebird sighting. Worth a detour if you like interesting tree shapes and pretty little waterfalls.
Weather wasn't great so headed here with the kids for a morning. Amazing rainforest and scenery. Loop walk is easy, but walk to the falls is not for anyone not fully able as it's quite a trek up the side of the valley - but well worth it. Thought it was good value for money
The walk is very well defined and easy going. We even saw a lyrebird bathing itself in the creek. A good deal of the walk is wheelchair suitable so less able folk can enjoy nature.
Well worth the visit - to do the Rainforest Loop Track is to spend an hour of your life doing something grand! Brilliant. Exhilarating!
Enjoyed this walk, the area is very peaceful and relaxing, We arrived a bit late so had to rush out before the gates closed but managed to make it to the fall. Walking tracks along the whole way. Entry fee for car of $11.00. Would recommend :)
