We love the Jervis Bay area, particularly this national park. There are a number of sections to it, and the best thing to do is visit the NSW Parks website and have a look at what there is to do. beaches like Hyams, Green Patch and Murrays are fantastic and there are a number of areas where you can camp or just have a picnic. Waters are crystal clear. There are plenty of bush walks, with much birdife, especially on the walk behind Hyams beach.
What an amazingly beautiful part of the world. We spent 4 days down at Jervis Bay exploring the area and spent two gorgeous days lazing on the beach at Murray's Beach and Green Patch Beach. The sun was out and warm, the water was beautifully clean, clear and turquoise and perfect temp for swimming. We took our picnic and our sun shelter as well as a good book, camera and sunscreen. Swam, read and relaxed in the most beautiful surroundings.
What a beautiful location! I particularly liked Murrays beach. This is one of the more impressive seaside areas I have visited with beautiful views of the bay and also the nearby mountains. Keep your eye out for wildlife, plenty to see if you have got a keen eye.
Secluded beaches, crystal clear water, the worlds whitest sand, bike tracks, walking trails,Dolphin & whale watching, beautiful Botanic gardens, local wineries, great fishing & golfing, all can be enjoyed minutes from your beach house accommodation & only 2.5 hrs drive from either Sydney or Canberra. A great spot for a family holiday, with something for everyone to enjoy, or just a quiet weekend away for couples.
I would highly recommend a trip to this area. it cost around £5 but what lovely beachs and views in around the area. Jervis Bay itself it beautiful with stunning scenery especially when the tide goes out and the adjacent lagoon tide goes out. I couldn't do it justice in photos, you'll just have to go there yourself!
Excellent views, Excellent beaches and Excellent lot of things.... I don't know what should I explain further? You can do camping in some area.
Great beaches , lakes and rivers. Marine park. Dolphins and Whale watching. Fishing and Prawning. You should go.
Wow how beautiful there are many beautiful beaches and great walks well worth the entry fee into the national park. Not far from the huskison and vincentia shopping centres
Jervis Bay is a wonderful place with virtually everything you could want in a national park: stunning white-sand beaches, safe swimming, superb views across a deep and wide bay, forests, excellent bushwalks and lots of wildlife, including dolphins close to shore and wallabies on shore, plus birds galore. Recommend the White Sands walk.
Jervis bay was one of the best places we stayed during a recent stay in Sydney! It is well worth the 3hr drive to get out of the city.We only had one day to spend here so we did a bit of research on the best beach for snorkelling, as this is one of our favourite hobbies, and decided on Murry's beach. It is located right at the end of Booderee national park. It is a stunning, secluded beach with white sands and crystal clear warm and calm waters. Perfect for snorkelling! There were only a couple of locals there and felt like we had the place to ourselves.Ospreys circled overhead all day and we even ha a wallaby join us for lunch! Great variety of fish and even saw a few sting rays. We didn't see any dolphins but they have a resident pods that frequents the bay.Fantastic day!
