We had a wander through this very beautiful park as we walked around the old part of Cadiz. Much of the centre of Cadiz is built up, so its lovely to find a bit of natural greenery. I enjoyed walking around and under the waterfall, and the topiary was especially good. There are plenty of seats to have a rest and the whole area was clean and very well looked after - a pleasure to visit!
Nice for a stroll! I went walking around this park while visiting a friend that was studying on a Spanish exchange back in 2006.It was quite a nice little place to stroll around with some very creative top-end gardening work.
This beautiful park is running along parallel to the sea. It has lovely benches and fountains. We were there in November when it was green and lush. It must be a delightful oasis in the summer.
A decorative park with rare trees and shrubs from all over the world, many cut into topiary. Lots of benches and fountains, so a nice stroll even in the hottest weather. Lots of play things for children, a dinosaur lake, birds in aviaries, an open air cafe good for a cold drink, but food only average. Work is in hand to refurbish the long-abandoned open air theatre and build a modern mirador between the park and the bay where there was previously a high wall.
nice walk in the park. Loved the pond with the dinosaurs, I'm sure the children would love them too! Also ducks etc. The trees give lovely shade on a hot day!
Gardens alongside the seafront near the Parador. Highlight is the fantastic topiary on the tress and lovely tiling benches
what a nice place to enjoy with your family. We highly recommend it especially to the families with children who are eager to play ball...And the dinosaurs in the pool was very nice
Its such a novel park, a wonderful sandy avenue through amazing shaped bushes and trees (topiary) with little fountains in the flower beds. Children love it and if you walk towards the sea side of the park, they will discover well faked up dinosaurs in the little lake and flying in the trees. There'a a small children's' play area at the end close to the Parador hotel. A kiosk for drinks and benches en route if you want to take a break.
This park is wonderful, the trees are amazingly shaped and it is located right by the sea.It is a good place to chill out after a busy day.
Spacious park for relaxed strolling before/after delicious seafood at Cadiz restaurants (see previous 'Balandro' review). Near shopping areas and Plaza Falla (theater named for the noted composer, born in Cadiz & entombed in the Cathedral's crypt).
